So i have been playing a ton of ps4 and i found myself missing a lot of people, friends, and enemys from dust. We play planet side and its great but something is weird over there they are all nice and send real gg mails after i stomp them. Hell i feel like im the only person teabagging people after i 44 noscope them. But anyway as i try to turn dust on i find cold lifeless people walking around like zombies farming LP with little to no purpose of world domination. Why are people so boring and have no fun in life or ingame. You must find what you want in life and go 100% for it no matter the outcome. Stop being scared of failure and strive for something better. o7

Cuse - First, I wondered where you went. Secondly, even the forums have people turning into ambitious less farmers.
This isn't farmville!
Even the Vader's Fist guys trying to stir up things in PC was poo poo'd by the bigger corps because they are not driven to do that same thing. Dust feels like the players are missing the passion they used to have. No one feels they can take down the big guys anymore even though it is easier than ever.
BTW - PS2 is nice because I usually jet jump over to the enemy strong point least defended and shotgun out all the resistance before making the current push fruitless for the enemy because they are surrounded. the problem is that you do that all the time and don't gain something that lasts like a district or corp notice/rank/position.

The passion is gone because Dust has no guaranteed future. There's nothing to fight for anymore, no reason to spend millions of Isk in single matches trying to win, because what's the point? We've yet to see any new introductions into the game since... since... cloaks? Well, I suppose we have had a few new maps and a new gamemode that you can never manage to get into, but there hasn't been anything to truly shake up the meta and give people a reason to play. The dreams of the playerbase are dead, all that remains are empty husks of the mercs who used to strive to be the best in New Eden.

Well, I've been on a mission to kill all red berries since the beginning , it's a long and hard quest, but I think I'm making progress.

When CCP announced that they won't be further supporting the EVE / DUST link it was really obvious things would only go downhill from there. What made this game truly special was the promise of a persistent experience that would affect EVE in meaningful ways.
That never happened, and unless they have a hidden team working on Legion, will very likely never happen.

Nah, this game brings 0 enjoyment to me these days so I just troll around on the forums for lulz mostly. I'll just sit on what I've got in case Legion is being developed (it's not).
The only fun thing in this game is dropships and unless you fly with a tryhard squad, you're probably going to have a bad time if you try to actually be useful in the match. Nope, you people can keep it. If Legion comes out you can all yell I told you so while I fly through the sky like the beautiful space manatee that I am.

I only play 1, or 2, or sometimes 3 matches once every week, or two, or so. sometimes. every now and then.
And I run solo.
I think I'm ok, but big name corps always make me hemorrhage isk. Also, outside of the wiki and books, there's no story. No reason to do anything.
I mean, I'm not bothered by all of that, but it kind of gives me a "what's the point" kind of feeling, so I'm not going to spend any of my time grinding for sp or plotting big district take overs. Heck, I don't even care about LP once I found out that depending on what server and what time of day you end up on and against what team there's no way you'll be able to win a match for the next 30 games.
Dust 514 is just a fun lobby shooter. *shrugs*

That's so sad it hurts. You can't be in "active development" and expect your players to make your game worth playing.
That argument is reserved for games that have had all development pulled. I mean, we don't even have custom games or spectator modes to help creators actually, you know...create...

yeh DUST is nothing but groups of people hiding inside objectives farming WP and only attacking the enemy team using bloody warbarge strikes
had a polish corp use FOUR warbarge strikes on us earlier, they just hid in the bloody objective the entire game, cowards. |

So we have a perpetual status quo that can never be broken,currently.
And a small playerbase prevents any unknowns from popping up,and they recruit the ones that do.

Who said we got PooPooed on? Apologies if farming 25k CP a day takes a while and I can't mass attack everyone in the game. You can gladly join us and speed that up however. Big corps are big yes, however people in this game lack the will to really fight for something. Be it a simple objective in Dom, or PC for land and to mean SOMETHING. Those Eve battles? You think CCP did that? I don't. That is actual players. I'm trying to build a force that can give all that feeling in. Bring back the teams, the alarmclocking and PC for 15 straight hours. Annoying, CCP is trying to stop me from doing that. Being a new PC corp, I can now see why it's so hard for new teams. Every district has 300+ clones on it, and those without are attacked. Sniping to reup is sad, but I will do it. Because I want this. I will take Molden Heath, and we will cement our names into this game. Call it dead if you want, call it anything really, but you make your game what you will to have fun.

Doing stuff in dust is fun, if you have the time to do the stuff, everyone wants something to happen but no one willing to put in the effort.

I felt that way during the official release, half the stuff we were promised and they talked about was not even there. i thought to myself "Who are you kidding this game is half built and fully released." I knew things were not just going to magically turn around in a few months...

I agree with a lot of the things said here and even i have been putting my best into matches granted i do not have the isk to do it but i do good in apex also so i do my best with what i can use and i miss doing pc all the time but i dont wanna leave my friends for pc so i stay in my corp and i need to do some major upgrades on my ps3 before i will do my best i have to deal with a lot of graphic and internet lag all the time but i still love dust and spend money on it all the time when i can.
I think ccp needs to do a revamp on all suits weapons skills cores and just fix the hole game in general before adding more content and stuff and i think the old legion team needs to become the hole dust team this could be a very profitable and enjoyable game if done right.

It is up to the players to provide the good fights. Winning a tuff hard fought battle against a opponent greater than yourself is the best feeling you will get on dust. Take a look at all the experienced vet players who stand in your way off achieveing victory in battle. Those are your enemys and those are the people that should drive you to become better then what they ever could be. With hard work and drive you can make anything possible. The scaryist thing in dust is a young upncomeing corp who has no fear of failure and is determined to become the best. I have seen weaker corps destroy powerful corps based on they were more hungry in battle. There is no easy way the this goal and it shouldnt be easy because the greatist things in life don't come to you easy. o7
