I've recently started playing the Dust Beta by getting a code in Ps Home, now although the game is good so far there are several things that I think need fixing.
First of all the graphic/ texture load rate is sometimes quite bad making the ground look like a blur, not really game breaking but not exactly great to look at.
Second the menu's are a bit confusing at firrst but I've mostly worked them out, apart from the blueprint original and copies thing which I don't see where it tells you whether your buying something permenat or not.
That also leads onto my next point; why do originals and copies in the first place because I would rather buy something with ingame credits, which I have far too much of to use, at a higher price rather than buy things I have to keep restocking, it's a hassle.
Also a rather amusing yet sometimes irritating is the vehicle spawning; first of all people spam them which is annoying, secondly the ships that drop your vehicle off crash into everything and end up droping your vehicle on top of things.
Also I recently noticed if you try to use the menu in a match the menu lag is so bad it takes forever.
I also noticed when your in the merc quarters you cant walk backwards lol.
Other than those problems the game works fine and looks good so far.
Anyone else notice anything odd or annoying that needs to be fixed before the game is officialy released?

1) That's gonna be better at some point.
2) Because that's how new eden works. Things are real, and cost money. Originals are there so you can avoid having to run around naked strangling people to make ISK. Anything that is "Militia" (lowest quality) is infinite, everything else you need to restock.
3) people are not spamming vehicles, that is a known bug. |

Oh ok, I just assumed people were spaming because you can order multiple vehicles at once and I think I read somewhere on the forums where someone said it was people spaming vehicles.
And my point about the blueprints was that it is not very clear whether its an orginal your buying or not and perhaps they should do a version of both in the items; for example an original shield module and a copy module with the original being alot more expensive, so people can restock the item cheaply if they want and those who don't want to have to restock can save up for the more expensive original and save money (ISK) in the long run. |
