Sgt Kirk, while you did not make it onto my voting list... you did make it onto my Alt's voting list.
Just so you know, if you don't make it onto the council this time, I will be keeping an eye on you over the coming year with consideration toward a possible CPM3 endorsement.

I believe we should have Team Deploy in FW, but there should be a special matchmaking rule for Platoons that a Platoon must be matched against either another Platoon, or 2 squads. Then solo players and fire teams can be added to fill in gaps if the Platoon or squads are not fully manned.
Squads would be matched against either Platoons, or against combinations of Squads, Fire Teams, and Solo Players.
This would allow for Team Deploy, but also prevent Platoons from constantly redlining teams of randoms. Solo Players and Fire Teams would only go up against a full Platoon if they had other larger organized group(s) on their side.
What do you think of this approach?

he made it to mine, FW once you start you cant stop, its a great mode, its also Kirks baby so to speak, i believe he has the best intersts of FW for all points to improve it, as well as his great video insights to weaponry and tactics, helping new players get into FW in lucent and various other activities that he goes out of his way to provide Kirk was an easy cadidate to pick, has he been hot headed in the past? yes but the past is the past and the future unwritten, i have faith Kirk will among others will be one of the best players for the job. put a side personal feelings and think of the future of 514

I like the sentiment but when it comes to restricting groups like that it breaks the immersion of Faction Warfare. (From low to high)
We do agree what the end result should be however. I would just like to encourage less than Platoon or Fireteams to play the Node based game modes instead of the Large nodes and regular FW Skirmish where there are no limitations.
The way I look at Faction Warfare is the way I look at an open world game. Let's say Fallout, nothing ever restricts you from going and exploring the world you want, even right after you make a new character (and exit a vault) so you have the freedom to go wherever you want whenever you want. The only thing that stops you is the difficulty of the areas you travel in yourself. Sometimes you can get lucky and find a nice little weapon and armor (Guys willing to teach you and give you assets) to help you survive in the world but ultimately if the uncharted path is too hard to handle you can always follow the steps the storyline takes you so you can eventually level up to the harder areas of the game.

Let's be real here. This is basic corporate functionality. DUST should absolutely not have to rely on EVE to have basic functionality. The same goes for things like channel moderation. Why on earth is an EVE pilot required for this? It is a marketing ploy to get more people to play eve.. How many new eve pilots did CCP get from telling us what we could do and everything else. I already had an eve pilot before this game came out so I was lucky. Most people create accounts to only drop OB's for pc (which is a waste). But if you had eve and looked at how the channel moderation is there is no way you could do it from dust side.. Kicking would be the only option.. The game is still basically in beta and everyone thinks it should have all this stuff right away. Think again.. That's why CPM's are important because they will bring this information to CCP at their weekly meetings and discuss what is possible to do and pick the more important things.. You give this game patience and I believe it will go a long way for this game.
But the main reason they have the reliability on eve pilots is so YOU try eve and hopefully sub for at least one month.
One day, I would like to be good at this game

the problem with team deploy in FW is your average joe, if you have a team in squad finder for example and it's a 16 man losing team like really getting stomped then players jump ship ( sellouts ). then average joe queued up and entered half a game that's being trampled. now average joe no longer like FW.
FW should start after downtime already kicked, you alone could enter a game at 12:01 EvE time and be alone until peeps join or its end of game. we have to kick off an elite gamer mode that should already be available straight after downtime!!
