1.) these forums aren't cluttered by new people in every single thread
2.) we get to know the people we share a passion with
3.) there aren't 50,000 corporations with 1000+ people each.
4.) we know who we fight.

3) What...what's wrong with that? I've never thought "Damn, I'm not playing this game because there's too many clans/corps/guilds. Besides, people would gravitate towards one corp or another eventually, kinda like now.
4) How...how is that good? What, if you had a lot of people you would suddenly grow a conscious and NOT know who to fight? Or you suddenly wouldn't know whether to fight Douchebag Inc. over Douchebag Co. instead of fighting both?
Yay, I turned these good reasons around in about 1 minute!

small player base means no real desire from the company to push the game into the future, its made whatever money its gunna make and once it stops producing a profit the plug gets pulled.

With the extra profit from the larger player base, CCP could factor forum warrior levels into match-making. You want to fight forum warriors at forum warrior level 4 and above? Just queue up for that tier. You want to solo The Ripper? Queue up for forum warrior level 2,147,483,647. |
