I put in a service ticket days ago on lost boosters, and I have not even been graced with a reply. Is this the way this ****** company does business now? Do you even have anyone to support the service department anymore? The uselessness of the entire back office for Dust is really glaring, and frankly I'm more than a little feed up.
So just letting you guys know if you file a service ticket don't expect a response. |

I'm sure Achduke will get back to you as soon as possible. I believe he is the designated ticketmaster of Rattati's skeleton crew. Imagine the hundreds of tickets they probably get daily.

As for service tickets, I would imagine with the number of unique users on here daily that there are probably a lot less tickets than you would think. Either way an automated reply would be better than abject silence. |

Quite honestly, if you word your service tickets in a similar fashion to your forum posts, they're probably ignoring you.
I typically get a response in 3 to 4 days.

I am not posting an opinion. I am stating a fact: Support tickets take time especially with the presumable influx from both the server issues AND the serpent scout removals.
I am not discussing with a mere opinion, I am discussing with an informed opinion, there is a world of difference between the two. An informed opinion is something that can be backed up with facts, evidence and sound reasoning.
It is a true statement that customer service don't like being abused by people with petty issues that are looking for arguments. They are much more likely to handle more polite and patient requests first.

An informed opinion from dealing with the numerous customers service departments would make you aware that after you post a ticket you always get a response. Obviously its not too informed... as they deal with all issues regardless of how you phrase them, and did you read my ticket? Obviously not, so you made an assumption then stuck your foot into your mouth, and promptly looked worse by defending it. I don't need qualifiers about customer service experience, we have all dealt with customer service departments. My issue is days of no replies at all. Not even an automated...hey. It could even say it may take a while to deal with. So, before you post OPINIONS (which are turning out to be not so informed after all) get the facts. The ticket is nice, the follow up is nonexistent, and if you don't work at CCP or know a time line for these issues why are you even posting? Not trying to sound cruel there, but really the fact you wrote that book to trying to sound competent underscores why you don't need to post on the topic. I don't need opinions, I need answers like the ones stating how long it took others to get an answer. |

Okay. Whine about it on the forums, most of us could enjoy the laugh. Long story short complaining here won't win you any points with anyone, nor will arguing with anyone who suggests that you might not be entirely reasonable about things.
Would an automated response have made you feel better?
Also, plenty of tickets are resolved and closed without any responses.
And FYI, I've had tickets where it took a week or two before I got a response due to the nature of the load on the support team and the nature of the issue I filed the ticket over.
If you don't know a timeline or work for ccp why are *YOU* posting?

I put 2 boosters on a few days ago and have just being told I wont be reimbursed despite me DCing and not being able to log in for over 6 hours, by the time I logged in I went to bed after 2 games. Takes the ****

Look first of all if a dev sees this post and reads how you've been attacking the people that are giving you facts based on experience they will 99.99999998% of the time skip past cause your being a douche. Secondly speaking from experience I have had no bad times with dust customer service and the do fix the problem in 3-4 days if your not being a douche in your ticket. Third just like the other guy said they just had to take out a very large number of I'll gained suits so the server might have to adjust a little. Last which day were your boosters wasted/lost? If it was the 15th that's ccp's fault and they are fixing it but otherwise its your fault and you most likely will NEVER see those again.
Duct tape fixes everything from weapons to suits and even tanks.

As was stated above; be kind, be courteous, be patient. There are more tickets rolling in than you think you know about. Depending on priority and attitude of the person submitting they will get back to you in a timely manor of their own discretion.
Being a douche won't get you anywhere in life or in a game. Everyone here was trying to be helpful and you're going off like it's the end of the world. It's just a booster and your issue will be resolved.
On an ending note. Don't post your crap here if you don't want comments from the community. Conversely, there is a separate forum where your issue would be better addressed.

Hi. I've had a job answering tickets and requests like these before, and it was for a game that had a bunch of issues, much like Dust. Earth Eternal, a browser based MMO from a few years back. Unfortunately never got off the ground. I have dealt with people who have been patient and understanding of the workload we have to deal with, especially when small hiccups happen, and that sometimes we just aren't able to be as quick as possible and I genuinely enjoyed helping them out and would go out of my way to solve their issue as quickly as possible if it was at all possible for me.
I have also dealt with people who have been incredibly rude or who filed multiple tickets in quick succession to try to make their issue seem more important or to 'give it a better chance of being seen'. While I did at least check all of them because it was my job, the worst of the bunch I would leave 'til later because I knew they would be a hassle. And sometimes, whoops, you've gotten lost in all the backlog of work I wanted to do and I've just completely forgotten about you. Maybe someone else will notice and pick them up. But more than likely they'll just file another ticket and we'll get around to it when we've got less on our plates and we aren't as stressed. And customer service can be a very stressful position.
Maybe now that you've got someone who actually worked in customer service telling you how a customer service representative may respond, you'll stop whining about other people's 'opinions' when they tell you to be careful about how you act and word things. |
