TheD1CK Dead Man's Game 2	Posted - 2015.07.28 10:37:00 - [1] - Quote Shaping MH into a platform for good fights would see activity across all timezones increase, but for this to be achieved there has to be some element of control from the larger Corporations though all can support it if they choose, and die if they wish CCP have stated about changing timers to match active regions, I would much rather see the players take control and decide the active regions than having our hand held by CCP to get anything done, so I would like to open this discussion to all Dust514 mercs and bring it to the attention of the active Corporations whose support will be required if this is going to be possible. - Region based fighting via Systems Fittikan is the largest system for direct fights, so most suitable for the NA timers (00:00-07:00) Meildolf set for battles at (05:00-12:00) with Eoldulf being after DT hosting (13:00-21:00) Elfrard completing a 24 hour neckbeard challenge at (22:00-05:00) This would offer fights available at all timezones for Corps with cheaper logistics cost and clone losses, create content for Corps who break the system and attack aiming to flip out of TZ districts and alter timers while also giving fights to Corps supporting battles in MH by defending this setup and attacking the Corps who aim to see nothing through but their own self interest. Leaving out Tartaven and Almur as lack of control can also be a good thing we would have the option to host these area's as a free-for-all or another failed attempt at getting a platform for new Corporations to battle at their level, I'd pick free for all New Corps become dead corps if they avoid fighting tougher battles, so a PFC is not as productive as you could hope. Feedback is welcome from all, and replies from the Corps listed below to see if there is any interest in getting this done. As a PC player I can confirm the lack of fights I have seen in various TZ's this imo is the best way to solve that. Region based systems benefit fights in your TZ being available to Corps entering PC, the random mix-up of land holding just makes regular activity harder than it needs to be.. The really problem with PC is the 24 - 48 hour wait for a battle to start. Is planning 1 - 2 days ahead for a 15 minute fight that is barely different from the rest of the game any fun? Example: District is online with an attack window of 0500 - 0800. An attack launched between 0300 and 0600 would take place 2 hours from the time the attack was launched. Limiting the defending team to 150 clones in battle and calling it a raid so that the district can not be flipped on these would be fine as well. That would give raids meaning while also giving a reason to hold off and launch full attacks that take a longer wait and allow the district some generation time. Remove NPC orbitals from FW. -- Fix orbital timers for Eve players assisting in Planetary Conquest.

Or you could just beat them up regardless of region and watch the tears flow like it does now.
