So. I was wondering if there's any EVE themed pen and paper RPG out there. Things like GURPS, Dungeon and Dragons, Call of Cthulu. Only EVE themed.
I figure I could do a Traveller write up for it, but that would be unpleasant to have to do. Only real problem is a shield system to fit in Trav.
Anything? Am I asking the wrong people?

Nothing really official set in stone as far as I am aware. We've tried to narrative story telling RP's on the forums here before but with no official system......there's a lot less to work with in terms of RP when you consider we never die.....

I'm not incredibly familiar with Rogue Trader, but I think it could probably fit the bill?

Hmm. How about Eclipse Phase. Adamance did bring up the fact that we don't die, and its a trans-humanist sci-fi game. Might work. Comes with the "your not dead yet" built in so...
I have Rogue Trader, I haven't done much with it. I like the 40k verse, but I like it as a lowly mock surrounded by 7 foot tall walking tanks and equally large green dudes trying to crack your head open and then making a hero of yourself among factory built heroes. Provided you don't get turned to a fine red mist. All of that to say i prefer Only War...
I'm gonna have to read both of them more thoroughly to pick. I'm not sure, but I dint think Eclipse has spaceship rules, which I would have preferred.
Both are BRPS, I think, so they'd both rule similarly. I think...
