I stopped playing FW there's too damn many people going IDLE. I usually kill then and get booted.

They don't play FW, which I recently started playing more of. They don't play PC, and I can't blame them with the lag?! They don't play worth a hill of beans in the pubs, but again I can't blame them. The payouts for effort is too low?!

If the payouts in the pubs actually matched the effort put in, maybe players would put in work. Currently tons of players see competition, and stop fighting to conserve isk. It leaves your team beaten by default?!

Often you're forced to wait a match out in the mcc, die solo and pointlessly, or leave because the team you're on isn't fighting, bringing links, or much of anything else.

The teams in FW do fight so I fight there.

In PC lag determines the outcome more than gun skill or tactics.

Factional really is the only game mode where you will ever see 16 vs 16 lol

I play once every few weeks now as I busted my controller, just dont feel as attached to the game now as its partially been replaced by Destiny for me.

Being said, matchmaking does seem to of got worse since it got better lol.

The payouts in pubs do match to effort. If you are beasting in pubs you are making more than the other guys on your team.

But that's not all the payouts are matched to - they're heavily based on the isk invested in the match. That means if you bring proto gear to a pub you're paying the enemy more isk. And if they bring militia gear you're getting less isk.

These impacts on payout balance each other. But because you don't always see how much the other guys (red & blue) get paid, you may have a misperception of what's fair and not fair.

PUBs are not for competition. FW and PC are for that. PC much more so.

And Vader's-Fist is here to make that more of a reality than you've recently perceived it to be.

Something has changed that's hard to put my finger on. Not only is the game irrelevant to New Eden, but it feels like Dust wants to break away from New Eden. That's the impression i'm getting anyway.

Skill in battle will draw more members than your incessive campaigning for a lost cause ever will....

As far as payouts go, I would suggest a small percentage increase overall. Me deciding to run proto shouldn't be looked down upon. Neither should attempting to win. How in the **** do you guys have fun losing? If we lose a battle it should never be without a fight! That's the fun in it, in my humble opinion! Isn't that why everyone gets in a fight?.... or is that just me

If a player decides to run higher end gear to win, but his enemy decides to run cheaper gear. How the hell is that the 1st guys fault? Sounds like he came prepared to me! He should also be compensated handsomely for services rendered! Especially if he performs well! If I run basic, and go 23/12/3, I should get paid! The enemies died! I don't care what they were rocking *shrugs*

I personally feel there should be a log on players.... a mark of sorts by their names indicating their tenacity in battle, or lack there of. Not that rank bs, that's just aurum spent?!

Yellow should indicate a high level of battles abandoned lol!

I remember first playing this game with militia and then basic fits! It was a dogfight to just get out of the redline some matches in those days, but if they let me get a foot in I made em pay! That basic AR became a Gek-38! Those basic armor mods became advanced with reps! Team tactics grew, and I found myself in every ******* corner scrapping til the point was lined with bodies all around, mine included! Those days seem to be long gone now because the ones that still fight hard, are left to die on the field while the rest of their team watches smh?!

Even with the incessive lag in PC atleast it's a fight when I go in! For me that's the whole point of playing! To fight, not dominate. I have no fool notion that I will just dominate others, and honestly if it became that way I'd probably stop playing lol! I'm here for the bloody knuckles, split knees, and splinters in my hands!

Fight or flight reflex! It's when your natural instinct kicks in, and you make that natural decision to stand up, or sit down. To fight back, or runaway. I'm here to have fun, but my definition of fun makes soft guys find excuses, and pretty girls curious!

The only incentive to play ANY video game is entertainment. Somehow these new age gamers started telling themselves they need incentives from devs to play video games. You cease to be entertained, you change the channel. Simple dude.

From a business perspective I would say incentive to play a game is crucial. If you don't appeal to your playerbase then you will lose those people; they will "change the channel" like you said. If you deny, fail to rationalize, or fail to make compromises with consumer demands to such an extent that you no longer have anyone to sell your product to then you have officially f*c*ed up.

I honestly think CCP needs to start marketing this game to a new playerbase. The major problems with this game that lead to poor player experience comes from the players themselves and their idiotic rationale to their actions.
