These are my top picks for CPM2:
1) Pokey Dravon 2) Cross Atu 3) Kevall Longstride 4) Zaria Min Deir 5) Breakin Stuff 6) Leither Yiltron 7) Darth-Carbonite GIO
Other candidates who I feel would also make good CPM members:
Mossellia Delt 137H4RGIC Dalmont Legrand dy5t0pia Ripley Riley SirManBoy xTheSiLLyRaBBiTx
I have not been doing as much research this year as I did last year so there may be other good candidates who I did not know well enough to place them on my lists.

What do you guys want to bet that Darth-Carbonite GIO would be a better representative for the Dropship community than Judge was?
... I guess that is not much of a bet... all he would have to do to be a better representative than Judge would be to actually show up to the discussion!

Starlight Burner wrote:On top of that, I don't feel any of these candidates care or support Factional Warfare either.
Maybe Cross... but the rest, I don't feel they care for Factional Warfare. I have heard all of my top 5 picks speak about Faction Warfare. I have heard most of them suggest promising suggestions for how to make Faction Warfare more popular and bring down the wait times for matches.
Most of them feel that Faction Warfare should be in the progression between Pubs and PC, but some of them believe that Faction Warfare should be considered end game content in its own right.
You would have to listen to old Biomassed episodes to find specifics... or you could just go to their campaign threads and ask them for their thoughts on Faction Warfare.

Tebu Gan wrote:While I do respect the work breakin puts in with his proposals, I feel often times he is far too inclined to disregard ideas that don't mesh with his ideaolgy of how things should work. And he does so with "sarcasm", which I often feel is a farce to just being an out right egotistical ****.
Pointing out anything you might disagree with in one of his proposals results in YOU the speaker being inferior and illogical. Not to mention he often takes it as an attack on his personal character or intelligence, which happens often when I attempt dialogue with him is not the case.
Sure, he has some great ideas and plenty of math to support it. But it would be nice to engage with someone and not instantly be berated for having an opinion different from his own.
I prefer candidates that are able to take criticism and consider other potential ideas that don't always mesh with their own. Much like Pokey does. Pokey, Zaria, and Cross are my number one picks atm. Haven't seen much from the other candidates so I choose to abstain from choosing others.
While he most likely WILL get elected to the council, I myself won't be voting for him. Best of luck to him though, no doubt in my mind that he will get a spot on CPM2. I will concede that diplomacy is not his greatest strength... but we must remember... he is a Goon!
[For those unfamiliar with the reference, Goons are an Alliance in EVE Online. They have their own style of doing things. ]

Providing me unsolicited opinion on this FW should be an alternative end game to PC. Now that PC 2.0 has been implemented it is my hope that more attention can be paid to FW. I tend to agree.
I actually think it should be both. I think it should be easier to get into than PC, and provide more organized play than Pubs, but I also thank that Faction Warfare should also be something that some players and some Corporations concentrate on.
I would like to see team deploy in Faction Warfare with the match making restriction that a Platoon must be matched against either another Platoon or against 2 Squads, with Fire Teams and Solo Players only being included to fill holes if the Platoons or Squads are not fully manned.
Otherwise Match Making should form teams with Solo Players, Fire Teams, and Squads. So Squads would be the unit size which can get into both regular FW matches or Team matches, and thus being in a squad would be the fastest way to get into a match.
With Team Deploy (Platoons) faction warfare oriented Corps can form rivalries against other FW Corps who support the opposing faction, and thus develop an end game meta.
I have also been a long time supporter of the multi-stage approach to taking FW districts, and for making it more predictable for EVE pilots to figure out where to go to assist with a FW battle.

Leither Yiltron wrote:I'd like to thank you wholeheartedly for your endorsement, Fox. It means a lot to me. It's my uncomfortable duty to relay that I've made the decision not to run for CPM this year due to a very recent change in circumstances. I'm sorry for having to retract my candidacy so close to the election. https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=2887683#post2887683 CPM3?
Since I am having to remove this from the earlier post, I am copying this here for reference.
Quote:5) Leither YiltronI know Leither mostly from his frequent guest appearances on the Biomassed podcast. Even when there are many guests on you will always know when it is him talking, because he has the most sexy female voice on the show (Sorry Zaria). But it is not his sexy voice that gets him my vote. Leither's understanding of the game is so deep you would swear he can see the Matrix! I particularly like his analysis of PC tactics and team dynamics. His encyclopedic understanding of game mechanics is impressive as well. Leither knows and understands this game like no other.

Now the 7th position is a bit precarious, and I can't promise you won't get bumped if I become impressed by a new candidate, but you have made my top 7 for now.
