What is this going to mean for CCP Shanghai ? They now have a reason to localize a Chinese language version of Dust with console makers able to legally get a foot in the market to sell new and old machines direct to consumers.

Now the Chinese can finally experience twelve year olds banging their moms. Afaik the firewall is still in place, which you can get around with by proxy.I am curious if CCP could encourage Chinese EVE players to pick up a PS3 from Sony vendors to try Dust. Admitted the whole console market is falling flat in china because everyone uses PC or mobile and doesn't have very much moneg to spend on gaming.
I have no idea what level of integration Eve on Serenity has for Dust.

They'd get a modified Jara Kumora animation package...or just the ability to sit down before any other country.

Who thinks CCP Shanghai will localize a f2p console port in China to connect with the Serenity cluster?

[quote=SLENDER M4N]Dust 515 - Made in China[/quote Now that Sony can operate more openly in China it seems logical that Sony offer CCP an incentive to advertise Dust, a F2P game, to existing EVE players in China in order to assist selling existing PS3 stock (or a PS4 port).

I swear, by all that is holy, if they get this before anyone, I will throw a tantrum the likes of which has never been seen. One does not simply sit. Or CCP Shanghai and Tiancity could open the mecenary quarters to reveal a grand conference room, none of which players could sit in.

If we do pick up a lot of Chinese players on the Tranquility, CCP is going to have to take a hard look at expanding beyond Molden Heath. A large corp 500+ players can lock down the region with CP attack orders.
It's a game produced in China; a few of its 1.3 billion citizens may want to try it out for nationalistic reasons alone.
