What is this going to mean for CCP Shanghai ? They now have a reason to localize a Chinese language version of Dust with console makers able to legally get a foot in the market to sell new and old machines direct to consumers.

Afaik the firewall is still in place, which you can get around with by proxy.I am curious if CCP could encourage Chinese EVE players to pick up a PS3 from Sony vendors to try Dust. Admitted the whole console market is falling flat in china because everyone uses PC or mobile and doesn't have very much moneg to spend on gaming.
I have no idea what level of integration Eve on Serenity has for Dust.

Now that Sony can operate more openly in China it seems logical that Sony offer CCP an incentive to advertise Dust, a F2P game, to existing EVE players in China in order to assist selling existing PS3 stock (or a PS4 port).

If we do pick up a lot of Chinese players on the Tranquility, CCP is going to have to take a hard look at expanding beyond Molden Heath. A large corp 500+ players can lock down the region with CP attack orders.
It's a game produced in China; a few of its 1.3 billion citizens may want to try it out for nationalistic reasons alone.
