I don't protostomp, even though I have 98% of all my skills to level 5 I absolutely hate getting my a** handed to me by true protostompers, because I hate it being done to me, I refuse to do it myself. The only time I will ever go proto in a pub is if I'm fighting against well known mercenaries that have proto themselves and will give me a good fight. 98% of the time I run my APEX suit.
Do I honestly expect to get anyone to vote for me? No I dont, I'm not part of the Dust 514 inner circle like 99.99% of the CPM candidates are, i just put my name in there because it's quite high of a chance that dust won't be on console in the near future.
But more to the point, all the CPM do is listen to the community and tell CCP what is being said and they do the same for us, the CPM aren't in any power to make changes happen, they are merely a bridge of communication between CCP and the playerbase. But yes those who don't do PC don't have much of a shot since CPM primarily focus on PC since that in itself is the end game of dust and without it we would only have maybe 1-2300 players on at most instead of the 5000 we have monthly.
The CPM is not for random people nobody has ever heard of trying to make his own views reality nor is it veteran players or "rich" mercenaries bending dust to their will. Thanks for letting us know you are THE worst candidate in any election process ever! Please crawl away...

I constantly beg for ISK (I'm not poor, but 30m is not rich.)
I am running.
I also want to focus on the gameplay, fix the little bugs, balance the weapons, get at least 30 FPS. Add in the missing assets, AKA Pilot Suits, Contact Grenades, Missing Vehicles, Amarrian and Matari props, and so on/so forth. Balance those Then I want to get a port in, to PS4 and/or PC.
Before all this, however, I want one major thing; A decent NPE.

Op. I wrote an article over at biomassed about this. I'll say the same thing here I did there.
It's not how much money you have. It's not even bout how much of the game you've experienced. Even if you've never PCed before you can be a good CPM. It's definitely not bout your intelligence.
It's about your ability to think objectively.
One of the cpm candidates is smart as hell, but is myopic inthat his opinion (which while USUALLY is right) can NEVER be wrong.
Another guy is humble, listens to others, and is flexible with his opinions despite having never left pubs. Even has good ideas about Pc (they are actually being implemented) despite never having played.
So don't say the **** you just said about all the candidates. Some of them are great! |

Imp, who and what? That's a lot of accusations on what is and isn't without evidence to back it. What PC changes was brought about by a non PC guy that hasn't been asked for by PC players for probably years?
Edit: Also OP is brain dead. Money is a measurement of how well a player invests and literally nothing else. It's one variable where many would matter. Nit picking ISK when total ISK compared to KDR, WP, and Total kills would make more sense in how they've handled there time in Dust, with no excuses of why after all these years. |

There is no right/wrong in game balance discussion, no matter how bull-headed someone is.
There is only what you bring to the table. Just because, say for example, my numbers are dead-on and the math is perfect doesn't mean the result is going to be fun or usable in practice. This is why there are seven CPMs, so there can be a sanity check on the die-hard loonies.
Besides, where the hell would be the need for a CPM if everyone just nodded and said "Ya man you right all de time" and then nodded their heads like you whacked 'em on the back of the head with a frying pan. Would totally suck the fun out of arguing a point.

Not to toot my own horn or anything...
But although I am running, I have gone from 450 million ISK to 90 million ISK over the last 2 years, much of which I've donated to people in squad finder.
I also have used squad finder to teach plenty of blues what fittings are, and other ins and outs of the trade which CCP does a poor job of explaining.
Finally, I never protostomp pubs. I don't find that fun, and I feel it's bad for the game. I only pull proto out in a pub if I see a stomp squad on the enemy team.
But hey, you don't have to take my word on all that.
Just wanted to get that out there.

STFU to any/all CPMs. You're all the same... looking for more power in your elite percentage of players until the game all out expires. I've trained new players, not as many as Fox or Dennie, but enough that I lost count of the number a long time ago. The most recent player training I've done however was this week
As to "farming" the only "farming" I do is in my Quafe fits which are a mix of standard and militia gear and comprise 80-90% of what I've run for the past ~18 months or so. I do occasionally run a proto uplink fit, but even that has no damage mods and the weapons are MLT/STD grade.
I'm not sure what "power" you perceive the CPM to have, but it doesn't give you an in game edge, spending time doing things like gathering input from the player base and sending to it CCP, or advocating for the game to be ported et al bestows no advantage to the outcome of matches you're in
For those operating under the misapprehension that the CPM gives some sort of advantage or "elite" status, I recommend reading the white paper to familiarize yourself with the facts.
0.02 ISK Cross
EDIT: The troll is strong in this one, but it is far from the first time I've heard people deeply misunderstand what the CPM is and does, figure it was time to relink the white paper in hopes that it gets more widely read and understood.

So, none of the CPMs have anything to address about the number one cause the game failed? They claimed to have tried to train players, but blah, blah, blah excuses...
Some of the best players in the game, came from trainers. Trainers who's lifetime stats and wallets took a serious hit. Darken-Sol, Grand Master Kubo, 8213, and Tasche helped so many players it can't be counted. But they get laughed at because of their 2.0 KDRs and lousy w/l records...
The number one demographic a CPM should be communicating with are new players. But instead they just run in their death squads and smirk... CPM is a useless position, and it has been proven with the last 2 classes. We can all talk for hours how to improve things, balance things...
What did IWS do for vehicles? Nothing that was asked for. What did Spero do for CPM? Made personal billions
What did Darth ever do? Farm noobs for a weekend to have a weapon carry his name. What would Aeon do? Be the next Kane Spero. Nobody would vote or give time of day to Zaria, until she became a CEO of a major corp.. Zatara and Judge? Looooong gone.
So, the best candidate for CPM is Whomever exploited the game the best up until this point, and wants to continue it for personal gain. Nobody loves this sh!t game, they like the easy-mode (big fish in small pond) and the social interaction. The battlefield element of this game is pure sh!t, and no CPM can ever change that and they know it.
