I've been writing this book that targets teens (what book in this generation doesn't?) It's a story about a young boy who plays football and video games, he's not the most popular kid, and he has regrets with himself. His Dad is his best friend but the same couldn't be said for his mom, she's been out of his life for a whole and shows up suddenly. He gets into an argument with his mom then his dad drives him to a game. After winning his dad drives them home. A truck t-bones them and the boy awakens to find himself in a hospital bed. He's paralyzed in one leg and can barely walk. The only person left to take care of him is his mother, as he finds put his dad had died in the crash. The book revolves around the boy reviewing his life, the decisions he's made, and the regrets that he has. All the whole the scene of the book is mainly his hospital room. The title of the book is "Someday" and the premise for so is simple, someday I'll get out of this room, someday I'll accomplish my dreams. He's pretty much thrown into a spiral as he can't do any of the things he could want to do now that he's crippled. Please leave suggestions I'm already 152 pages into the book. Thanks :D

I know bad stuff happens to good people, but what are the "long odds" of your scenario?

They say good writers write the ending before the beginning. I have 2 endings planned out, normally a bittersweet ending would be great as it empowers more emotion, but teens would just hate it I speculate. I haven't written anything around real-life scenarios as fiction was always my cup of tea. So I guess we'll see how it goes.

You should make one ending and then sell the other ending in a DLC.... Oh wait nvm... Its a book...
