Its been what, 17 months since we saw that reskin of a quarter of Spine Crescent. That little ditty took them 8 months to make. Given that they made a fuss about how they had to lower the resolution on the suits in order to get them on PS3, you would think that having all the art assets in higher res would make their job easier. Instead we got a demo of a shrunken map we already have, that barely looked good enough to be on a PS4, let alone compete with PC shooters.
I called Legion vaporware as soon as it was announced, and there has been nothing to suggest that was a bad assumption.
I would feel bad for the people who think this game has a future, but if they can't see the signs, maybe they deserve to be disappointed when they shut it down.
The window for a eve connected FPS came and went, they blew it. Now there are enough quality titles that fill enough parts of the dust spectrum to make it irrelevant.
When was the last time a dev mentioned Legion development?

They could call it whatever they like, and I really don't think I am reading too much into the silence. Either progress has been made or it hasn't. Either the project has been scrapped or it hasn't.
I'm not frustrated, because I am confident that the next-gen/PC version of dust is dead. I've been confident in that assumption for well over a year, and have only played Dust for missile tank enjoyment for awhile now.
We know what CCP is devolping, Valkyrie and Nemesis, neither of which is a dust successor. Nemesis is being done in Shanghai, most likely with the people from the dust team who didn't get canned, or left on Dust skeleton crew duty.
Is it possible that CCP has been working on a dust port/reimagining and it will be ready by next year or 2017? Maybe. Not a bet I would take, and certainly not something I am holding my breath for.
