I would also like to assure everyone that, while flying Dropships is my favorite way to play Dust, I will never put the desires of vehicle users before any others. And that is why the single most important thing CCP can do is to announce a port to next generation hardware. The logical choice would be PS4, because not only would that result in the least amount of community fracturing, but it would also put CCP's product front and center on an already wildly successful platform. That said, I think it's a bit of a stretch to call Dust pointless because of it. Yes it's a huge problem, and should be a constant focus for improvement, but I think if CCP could "Fix Lag" they'd already have done it. I'd like to see it come to both. and once you get behind the NDA and confirm that there is absolutly no port in dusts future? and that legion development has ceased completly? then as a CPM meber you have to walk around like you have no idea ? how are you going to aproch the situation if thats confirmed for you as the case? You're probably right, and they withhold any and all information to protect themselves from the kind of backlash they received from the Legion announcement. If I sign the NDA I am honor bound to keep it. This is how it has been for CPM0 and CPM1, and that's how it will be with CPM2. It's unfortunate that we are still in the dark about Dust's future, but that's why we must elect a council that will tirelessly advocate on the player's behalf, and push for not just the port, but for transparency regarding developmental decisions in general. If new players aren't interested in the game, or get scared off before they even get the chance, how will the community grow? Better tutorials, an academy system that teaches a wider variety of skills, and more in game reminders that the forums exist and are a good place to get help.
