Welcome to EVE. Yeah, EVE players are like that due to EVE being the slow burn type of game it is. You should have seen the reaction to DUST being moved toma console.
Console FPS = fast twitch. Nuff said.

WRONG. Pilots, as I have explained are Eve Players....Called Eve Pilots. Dust merks pilot a dropship which is completely different because your title as a dust player is a MERCENARY not a Pilot. I'd argue that you are a little misguided on this one. The correct and most commonly accepted term for an EVE player is 'Capsuleer' or 'Empyrean'. Pilot does suffice but the term is a little too generic. A Dust 514 player could certainly be referred to as a pilot, especially in the case of dropships, as opposed to HAV and LAV. Hell even the assertion that all players are mercenaries is rather misguided since for the most part players in Dust do not act like mercenaries. My corporation for example acts as a paramilitary for an established government, we don't sell our services to anyone.
God Dammit those as*hole navy guys stealing our Air Force Thunder!
FYI Marine Corps. The only thing we have to thank the British for is the Harrier, the French theGǪ SAW? Thank, I guess?
