Well I don't like the assault rifle that's why and heavy machine guns don't have range so I prefer a light weapon.

Try using an Assault HMG and Bolt pistol. Best of both worlds.

Or if you're dead set on Light weapons, go commando. 10% innate damage buff is better than any damage mod.

1x Damage mod on a commando is better than 3x on any other suit. Then you just run tank mods and have a harder hitting sentinel with light weapons and faster speed.
