I've slightly more than dabbled in trading as it's been expanded, and the player market economy is interestings. With officer weapons, skins and BPOs, I've seen high prices at the start crash after a few days, and recover slightly thereafter to find some balance.
Officer weapons. Started at 500k+ per weapon in some cases, dropped to 200-250k, and achieves 250-350k now in many instances.
Skins - availability dependent. Quafe skins are rocketing, but skins split from BPOs have dropped from 25m odd to less than 10m in some cases.
Apex suits - achieves upwards of 80m on day 1, after a few days I saw some go for as little as 30m, and now they seem to have levelled out around 40m.
BPOs - initially sold at 20m+, but can't sell some for 5m per STD suit now.
Prices aside, availability seems to drop after the initial flurry of trading, which helps price recovery somewhat. I've found it harder to sell stock when the market calms again, and harder to find items I'm looking for too.
An Eve-style market would be great. Place buy/sell order, deploy, etc. Here's hoping one day!
Aur to isk ratios interest me too - boosters achieve over 1k ISK per Aurum spent, but Apex suits achieve less than 1k now. If you're spending Aurum to sell items, boosters seem to be the best option. Thoughts?

Many people get your isk and not send you item.... so another player dind know, so he send money to black hole...

Yes, a trade window would be nice. Or contracts system.
I've done a lot of trading on trust and honour, and it's worked out ok for me. Mostly we seem to be a decent bunch.

The SKIN market is kind of baffling to me. I bought and sold many, and what stands out to me is the extreme inconsistencies in value. Most converted SKINs are extremely cheap, and it makes sense to me because they used to essentially be BPO suits combined with SKINs for the same AUR prices as the current SKINs, but when they got split into generic BPO suits and SKINs by the conversion, the value of these individual resulting items can be theorized to be half of their pre-conversion incarnation... yet somehow the Quafe SKINs escape this, and manage to be even more expensive in some cases. I don't see why a beautiful Tash-Murkon medium SKIN should be valued at like 10 million when a Quafe SKIN is selling for 35+ million.
Some SKINs like the Kador medium are very pricey. At first I thought it could be because they weren't a product of conversion, and thus didn't experience a perceive split in value from an item splitting, but it seems that any rational theory about why something is worth what it is doesn't make sense. For example, Legacy SKINs (at least the Minmatar ones) are really expensive on the player compared to most AUR SKINS despite them being much cheaper in AUR.
I suppose all that might matter in determining prices is scarcity + demand.
I bought and use Tash-Murkon AM-M, Legacy MN-M, Kador AM-M, Kador AM-H, Kaalakiota CA-L. There are a bunch of others I bought and then resold for profit. The market has been good to me.

Can it be said that the market stagnation is motivated by a lack of interest, a satisfaction of demand, or a lack of trust?
I noticed the same price movements. I didnt notice market saturation ( not a trader so wasnt looking -to be fair.)
The 'Quafe' discrepency could be caused by the dark shading. People are more likely to be drawn to dramatic shades than detailed intricacy.
It's hard to beat up hundreds of armor piercing bullets using only your face...
