Point of these other than for ADS ramming and rooftop camping? I swear these are the bane of my entire ADS existence. Whats worse is that they can ram me, survive to ram another. Also 4v 13? Sigh...

You need to listen and keep moving. You can hear RDVs bringing things in and hear when DSs are in the air. Keeping moving (orbiting, not staying on one area too long, etc) makes it hard to ram you at high speeds and allows you to survey more area for potential threats.

They don't get you the first time they will follow until they do. Meaning you dodge all game long

They don't get you the first time they will follow until they do. Meaning you dodge all game long Or you knowGǪ kill them. You're in an ADS after all, if you can't kill a throwaway MLT DS you need to work on your flying and air-to-air combat.
If you want to be situationally aware, you're always on the lookout for signs of an enemy DS in the air (hearing it is the best tell-tale). Once you're aware of it's existence, it's not hard to keep track of it and avoid it, especially in an ADS. They keep coming? You keep killing. Free SP plus taking one of their players out of the match (while you keep terrorizing players from the air between DS spawns).
In any case, what is it you're actually asking? You want ramming nerfed? Even if they can't kill you they'll still knock you around, perhaps into a building or the ground, at the very least disrupting your attack, and since you admitted you can't kill them you're pretty much hosed. How on earth do you expect them to fix it? You want DSs to just phase through each other?

Now don't say I don't kill them, because I do kill most. If I'm in my missile Ads I cant kill them before they get to the redline(since the maps are kind of small they can try once, fail, recede into the redline, try again. Not really wanting a nerf, maybe a price change. I'm just a random blue berry complaining on the forums
Also you can hear a DS being called in from deep in the enemy redline? you have good ears...
Also #2 I'm not just complaining about ramming, I'm also complaining about rooftop camping

proto rails on an incubus will eat most militia ships alive. They are rarely fit well, there's no point to an expensive rammer.
once you know theres an enemy in the air, typical air to air dog fighting rules apply. keep a speed advantage, height advantage keep you situational awareness up.

34k for a really good 5k+ ehp gorgon ram ship... Can ram me and not die... Less than most adv suits, less than some basic suits...

Also #2 I'm not just complaining about ramming, I'm also complaining about rooftop camping I will agree that getting rammed is one of the most annoying things for an ADS pilot. I get just venting about it; I probably took this a bit too seriously.
Anyway, from about the middle of most maps, you can hear almost every RDV and DS being called in or flying (at least if your volume is up, you have a decent headset, and are paying attention). The DS sound is a bit hard to pin since you have your own sound when flying, but a different DS does have a distinct noise.
Yeah, roof top camping is a pain, on the ground or in the air. The biggest problem is the ability to glitch links into walls. It'd be cool if the splash damage could go through walls somewhat to alleviate that issue, and I don't think it'd be too OP since the radius isn't very far.
Other than that, I'm not too worried about roof top campers. Taking out links is easy and after that, you just either kill them or make them jump until there's no one left up top. Only thing I'd like is a better directional scan for equipment. Currently, we have for rely on seeing the pulse animation of links to find them, or else look directly at them with our crosshairs. This can be very tedious and time consuming, very dangerous if there is AV out. I wish every equipment would be highlighted when within a square about half the size of the missile crosshair ticks and within 100m. This would make finding links in a large area easier while also still being vulnerable to AV (but slightly less so).

The biggest issue with, "Just listen for it" and "Just avoid it" boils down to: you can't always be perfectly aware. Sometimes you'll be in the middle of fighting and focusing on flying/shooting/not dying well and miss an RDV, or simply hold still for five seconds then - boom, a Gorgon love taps your Python and 300k+ goes down in flames.
I don't get rammed often - and I have many that try and fail - but whenever I do get rammed, it's usually because my air support has become vital (keeping enemies suppressed while blues push; keeping rooftops clear; etc) and/or the fight has become intense (heavy combat, usually involving low level AV evasion and/or specific piloting requirements about location - ie, keeping buildings between you and a RailHAV) that then leads to missing an RDV drop-off and/or opening up enough of a window for ramming.
Similarly, a rammer that keeps you looking over your shoulder every five second effectively hakfsyour effectiveness, simply knowing that someone might call in a ramship. The fact that a single ram attempt can actually entirely derail the potential for flying an ADS (read: Python) is pretty ridiculous. Because if you don't check the redline every ten seconds, that's when the rammer hits you: when you take a few seconds breather from being paranoid.

No, it's not. It has its durability but lacks in offensive capabilities and steering.
