What needs to be fixed before a port is the NPE and balance. Those things don't magically get better with beefier hardware. There is no point in porting to new hardware if they can't retain new players. Best PvE idea ever!

The PS3 has something called the cell architecture and is really different from x86 architecture (what the PS4 and modern PCs use). There are pros and cons with going PC vs. PS4. I don't think the difficulty in porting is really a major factor though. Either one will be difficult (especially for a small team). Best PvE idea ever!

If your facing against top tier players they may have an advantage if they sre using a SSD drive or PS3 slim. Also there are many mercs out there who are very good players yet never do PC because of framerate issues. These players are locked out of PC.
