How do you feel the Scp holds up to other pistols? And whats your postion on team deploy in fw? Id prefer to see corp battle make a return in some form or another.
Scrambler Pistol needs a higher rate of fire, it feels clunky without it. That might mean knocking it's damage down a peg or two to maintain the same DPS but I don't think it's entirely necessary as it is a very under-utilized pistol and was under-utilized even before the new sidearms came into play. But definitely needs a higher rate of fire because the Burst Scrambler Pistol just feels wrong xD
My position on Team Deploy in FW is that it is essential, necessary, and organized entities are already going to do it. Not having it causes problems and I'll try to elaborate as to those problems below:
1) Queuing is unnecessarily difficult.
Organized entities are going to queue together, you can't stop that. Without 16 man team deploy though it forces both squads to only run one faction at a time and that lengthens the deploy time considerably.
2) Not allowing team deploy solves nothing, but does create problems.
As said above, you can't stop people from running together, but when they don't get in the same match they'll often back out/cancel - so that creates a considerable gap that needs to be filled in their place.
3) It will become fundamental if FW is ever overhauled.
One of my big time goals is to encourage the overhauling of FW to allow Dusters to -choose- where they fight, within reason and limitation. Through doing this, it would make Dust 514's impact on Eve Online so much more powerful and the recognition of that tactical sandbox aspect could not possibly go unnoticed. However that can only ever happen, I feel, if Team Deploy is implemented, otherwise we'll just have eight man teams trying to wrestle spaces in those matches with other players for tactically coordinated battles that they started.
To put it simply: I am 100% for team deploy and it's going to take a really solid, well-made argument to convince me that it shouldn't happen.
Corp battles would be a good foundation for this, I feel, with a little tweaking.
