Live event in Eve Online in which the Empress of the Amarr Empire, Jamyl Sarum I, made a public appearance (which hasn't happened in a LONG TIME so it's kind of a big deal) in order to ceremonially keel-lay a new Imperial Flagship. Which, considering the last one had a Terran Superweapon that single-handedly annihilated an entire Minmatar Republic Elder Fleet.... Says a lot.
Considering she not only made a freaggin appearance but communicated with the players makes it even more interesting because CCP is actually going pretty hardcore on the lore/live events. It's a big deal x3

Thanks for the explanation, appreciate it. I'm a sucker for.lore driven events; does anyone remember when the.first Sansha Incursions happened? That's the kind of stuff that makes EVE great.

Personally, I am amazed that the Empress would even answer or note Max Singularity's existence. I would only assume that his mere presence is act of heresy to the empire.
I guess the real question is if the four empires are now starting to buckle or compromise to Nullsec politics.

Tossing up between whether to resub this instant and attempt to join in the end of the ceremonies..... admittedly on an RP character I don't really like, or just keep and eye on events to see whether re-subbing at a later date would benefit me.
