Ask away, I have much logic. Entertain me enough and i might actually run. The problems this game is facing has gone from technical to communication. (Still plenty of technical ofc *laaaaag* Actual practical knowledge of Dust will suffice as a background, CPM should return to there original objective - the stand in between us and CCP.
My thoughts are my own, but my voice is yours.
So who cares what i actually believe in? Tanks can go **** themselves, they're iron primates whose effectiveness in organized play is the intended purpose. That's why there's a vehicle limit. Pub games suck because both sides won't be equally equipped - it's really a deal with it situation for a lot of the QQ on this topic. If you can't kill a tank not in full proto *He's paying to win, stop crying you can't solo him* then go spec into the Pay to Win ISK method CCP has provided and deal with it. As a tanker they're literally useless in many games because of tankers and AV on the other side - so being one is a gamble, while infantry is ALWAYS useful no matter which you pick.
It's the pay off between power and usability that many of you are ignoring. Risk vs Reward, practical vs impractical. Tanks are useless players who farm bad players and support good ones. That's honestly all they're capable of.
Dropships will never get fixed because a lot of the problems is frame rate and rendering issues. you'll always feel gimped on the PS3 because the game isn't rendering the attack on you when it lands all the time. We see the hit but you don't because your system is rendering the DS and your altitude, you're not 'lagging' your frame rate just goes to hell on your inferior system. your connections fine. All the balance in the world won't make ADS and DS scary and sometimes costly to use. But at least we can get close enough for a port, eh? :D
Scouts i don't really look into all that much, so my opinion here is invalid mostly. I'll just say they're one of the most confused suits in Dust, as it's potential to do everything is always all over the place in each update. There's too many variables at play in encounters in Dust: scans, EHP, DPS, Range, movement, damage types, among other variables that work one way or another in a players favor. With scouts, the scales of balance are too easily tipped one way that enable them advantages. it's by no means an OP suit even when it was considered FOTM, which is why i've never paid real attention to it.
But the two suits who going FOTM changes everything dramatically are the Assault and Logi's. These two classes can pretty much be each other, heavies, or scouts depending on race. CCP handles updates without explaining there vision - that's the real change i want. an explanation to why in the bigger picture they thought these changes reasonable.
And remember folks - Amarr is ruled by an Empress with a lesbian sex harem. This is important because it shows how nerdy CCP really is, and a symbol of the path we should take to come together and fix this game.
