Thokk Nightshade Montana Militia 1	Posted - 2015.07.18 00:26:00 - [5] - Quote What is the timeline? Last 6 months? Since open beta? Since 1.8 my best has been 13 or 14. Back right after original launch, I had 1 matchwhere I went 28-7-2 with a Charge Sniper Rifle. That was when TTK was much lower and the overall HP was quite a bit lower than normal. You could 1 shot a lot of suits with a Charge at that time and the maps were built for snipers. Avenues of overwatch of every single hack point and you didn't even have to be in the redline. Hell, most of my camp spots were WELL outside the redline back in those days. Thokk Kill. Thokk Crush. Thokk Smash.

I rarely ever use a sniper rifle and I think this was the only time I ever used one in an Ambush match so it was kind of mind blowing to me that I did so well.

For some reason I was placed against a bunch of newbs, and they kept spawning on the exact same rooftop uplinks that I was plinking them off of. Not even moving from the roof when they knew a sniper was on them, just spawning in, running to the corner, and shooting at the people on the ground. I couldn't see the uplinks from my vantage point or I'd have just shot those. Eventually I pulled back to the redlines and let the rest of the battle play out. I felt like I was in entirely the wrong match and felt really bad for shooting newbs. Most of them didn't even seem to understand strafing. They ran in straight lines firing their guns, or stopped dead still.

Had 1 match against him, and the minute I saw his name on the kill screen I got my sniper to try and counter snipe. I see him I get one shot in before he moves out of the way, 2 seconds later head shots me. He ends up dominating for the rest of the game and most on my team go negative... God damn that amazing Son of a ***. Delt for CPM2, Shadowed Cola for CPM2, Breaking For CPM2**

Ah yes back in beta when no one knew how to fit a suit and no one had anything better than mlt gear... Miss those old days... Sniping gets to be a chore when It takes 4 shots to down an assualt... Back when wearing anything other than mlt or standard gear could bankrupt you... We were so young back then... So innocent...
