I once got 12 with a standard sniper rifle, but most of them weren't skill kills. For some reason I was placed against a bunch of newbs, and they kept spawning on the exact same rooftop uplinks that I was plinking them off of. Not even moving from the roof when they knew a sniper was on them, just spawning in, running to the corner, and shooting at the people on the ground. I couldn't see the uplinks from my vantage point or I'd have just shot those. Eventually I pulled back to the redlines and let the rest of the battle play out. I felt like I was in entirely the wrong match and felt really bad for shooting newbs. Most of them didn't even seem to understand strafing. They ran in straight lines firing their guns, or stopped dead still. |

if you are ever bored, make a brand new PSN to play dust on. I have not done this ever by the way, just seen a video about it.
So many newberries stand still when shooting, getting mlt sniper kills is far to easy

I remember back before sniper nerf I got a 45/0(or 46 Idk) Dom game with a charged. Best Sniper in my opinion? Probably Nod Keras. Don't know if he still plays, but damn it that guy was great. Had 1 match against him, and the minute I saw his name on the kill screen I got my sniper to try and counter snipe. I see him I get one shot in before he moves out of the way, 2 seconds later head shots me. He ends up dominating for the rest of the game and most on my team go negative... God damn that amazing Son of a *****.

EDIT: Never mind, was already mentioned. It was 64/0 To be fair, Manus Peak was an OP map for Snipers. When targets used to cap out at about 300 hp. Now they go around 800 or so for assaults.... and about 2000 for a heavy. If you brought that map back... and restored sniper range... then handed that guy a game controller again....this guy would not have been able to get more than 20 on the current mechanics.
Ah yes back in beta when no one knew how to fit a suit and no one had anything better than mlt gear... Miss those old days... Sniping gets to be a chore when It takes 4 shots to down an assualt... Back when wearing anything other than mlt or standard gear could bankrupt you... We were so young back then... So innocent... I think one of my kills was even shown on one of those old old beta videos.. If I find it I'll tell ya'll about it
