The Gallente Federation is the Greatest Empire. Why?
Because it is a powerhouse in the following areas: culture, military, natural resources, manufacturing, biotics and technology. Now it only comes in first in culture because it hosts virtually all active cultures and biotics because the industry is covertly funded by government black funds and cartels. While the Federation may not be King in many areas it is strong in virtually every area. Compared to the Caldari and Minmatar the Federation is well rated in nearly all categories that count.
The Federation's greatest weakness is its greatest strength, which is rather poetic. Every citizen is allowed to voice there opinion and influence how the Federation conducts itself. That's why it's so hard to hate the Federation as a whole because there are people from every corner of the Cluster there. Now, critics will say that there is a lot of tension that exists between all these people. Tension that arises from history, culture, beliefs, economics and ethnicity. This is true. What is not true is that the Federation is a fragile conglomerate ready to shatter, and scatter in pieces.
That could not be further from the truth.
People underestimate just how much we value the fact that we are free to be who we want. From the outside looking in, people see us as people that cannot agree and who are always arguing about what to do. Though, we believe that this is our greatest strength. We are not a single people. Rather we are an alliance of cultures that wish to preserve each other. We agreed to join hands in peace and resolve to work together to improve humanity. Together.
The Federation, no matter how in despair it may fall, will never be lost. There will always be good men who will rise above everyone and lead us on a righteous path.
If it takes an infinity for every culture to agree, then we will walk into eternity gladly because we know that we will always have differences. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
