I read somewhere that if someone is not active CCP might contact the runner up to replace them.

Source, please. Given the fiasco with Judge I would expect that to have been invoked for CPM1.

CSM did this a few times if it was early in the term. We have the ability to do the same, but the term was well under way before Judge was finally removed.

Soraya, honest question here.
How much of a workload is expected in the CPM?
I'm a college student who works full to half time year round. So long as I don't have to go to Fanfest or China, I could run for CPM (And would be interested in doing so.)
Is it true that you guys have to have conferences with CCP at ungodly hours in the morning? Would they understand if I couldn't attend every meeting because of school and work?
In short: How much work am I looking at? The body is willing, but the mind is wondering if I have the necessary time in my budget. I don't want to pull a Judge.

I think this is actually true Ghost. Reiner/Crash Gaden told me a while back that this was his main reason for not running for CPM1 when he essentially had a seat locked up if he wanted it. |

If Judge can go 7 months doing nothing, I think I should be able to go the full term with 80% attendence 
But yes, I'm worried about this. I'm trying to get a hold of Zatara, as I've known him for a long time and he'd be straight with me. Sadly, my computer is busted atm, and my skype is down. So I have to try and get a hold of him on the forums at a work computer

It's a fair bit of work. And that's not including actually playing the game, which apparently players think CPMs should do. (Go figure.)
Meetings tend to be US evenings, ungodly hours happens if we meet with someone in Iceland, and that's super rare these days. We do have near constant Skype contact witb CCP basically every day, all day as people are around and available.
