So why does Dust retain so many quality players? I also love League of Legends but that game was rated as the most hate filled game on the internet. Ha!
My main reason for sticking around is the community and I don't think CCP has anything to do with that. MONSTER SYNERGY, I was in your corporation for over 90 days and never received my 100 million ISK. Liars and scammers! What a get way to run a corporation.

BTW - I just joined this corp a month ago when my last corp shriveled. I am thinking of bailing if I can't get the guys to organize for a PC (I am up to 12 PC guys in the corp, so if someone is up for a fun friendly trial match). I'm not even a director either!
I would offer to help you out, but you do not sound smart. Why would someone pay you 100 mil isk to join a corp? No one is commissioned that much.
Giving you isk feels like it would be a waste. I can see you now buying 1k of everything in the militia store.

There are some. Sometimes you run across them in Public Squads in the Squad Finder, but generally they don't join corporations or private channels.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

It's fun, always something to works towards, fun people to play with, customization of suits vehicles per player's style?  |

There are other factors than CCP and players that help dictate Dust's life:
- Sony's support for PS3s
- PS3 discontinuation
PSN support will continue, but many expect software updates to cease for the PS3 this year, and for PS3 manufacturing to cease in 2016.
If Dust were a PC game, then one could argue that it could linger indefinitely, but realistically on PS3 it just can't.
I am happy that Dust has lasted as long as it has, but don't let your optimism blind you.

Actually, both Eve Online and Dust 514 are filled with a-holes. At least here you are given a chance to learn how to deal with them.
To me, it's knowing that the developers are actually listening to the players this time around. It is most unfortunate that Dust did not experience such openness early on due to the way how the previous Executive Producer handled things. Thankfully, we now have CCP Rouge who made the right decision to have CCP Rattati in charge of the dev team. Since then, the devs have been far more open than ever before and more timely with their development. In fact, each of the recent updates have been consistent with the promises set by the Trello Board that Rattati himself posted.

Planetary Conquest is now fun.
We can now trade many things (I notice we can trade BPO MLT modules and weapons now, YAY!)
Faction Warfare has more incentives to get into.
