I've noticed that when I'm in a stand off with upwards of 3 people theres lots of popping in and out of cover i think faster reloading while crouched would add a whole new strategic element to fire fights. and if you stand up mid reload it just cancels out like sprinting would. you could could even have it as a skill.

i think it may unbalance the weight defence over offence
it rewards players who are taking cover, and hinders players who are pushing |

I still think having our guns do MORE damage at close range (2-3 meters) would get the dance done sooner and get on with the game. |

And how would the faster reloading while crouching be explained? Because you are closer to planet's surface and therefore feeling a stronger effect of gravity...? I don't think so. It would also make it to where everyone would crouch while reloading just for that extra speed, which makes them slower, which in turn will slow down game pace with everyone crouching to reload/hide. |

who said anything about gravity? what the heck are you talking about? naturally it would be faster if your trying to get from point A to point B to reload on the move. you wouldn't need to all the time just when it saves you time. you might see heavy's crouch reloading more often because the strength of their suits isn't about movement speed. I'm not super familiar with real world fire fight dynamics but it just seems natural to me that it would be easier to handle your weapons components from a braced position as opposed to juggling everything while standing. |

Faster reloading is a skill . I thought this thread was just a joke, I posted a troll response, sorry, Reload is something you need to train. |

you may be right. It's just I don't really see a lot of reasons to crouch in this game and I'm trying to figure out when I would naturally use it the most. aside from sniping. |

I use crouch from time to time. Its good for taking cover in some spots. Behind guard rails for example. |

Exactly, There is no reason as to why crouching would increase reload speed, for every gun (In real life) that I have reloaded it is just as easy to reload them while standing as crouching. While it is logical to crouch to reload in a firefight, because you'll end up getting shot. It doesn't make you reload any faster. |
