Remember that candidate, Breakin Stuff, that is endorsed in your OP? We discuss his proposals and ideas in Skype often before he tosses them out for the community to view. But spin that however you want ![Blink](https://forums.dust514.com/Images/Emoticons/ccp_blink.png)
May you invite me to the Skype chat Ripley? I love discussions, and until I get my internet back to play, it's all I can really do XD
Btw loving the FW idea, as well as the one the Bradic said. THAT, is a post that everyone should read along with Kaisers

TheD1CK wrote:501st calm down with the like button a moment and back me up on this ![Pirate](https://forums.dust514.com/Images/Emoticons/ccp_pirate.png) I am not against disagreement, my Corp can vouch for how often I am wrong, but I know the game we are playing and I do my best to keep it a casual environment for myself and the gamers I fight with, It may be a shock to some of you but there are many people playing the game for what it is, not just the dreamers that come here to talk about it, I will vote when I see candidates that are going to reach out to the bluest of blueberries and value their feedback as much as the value those of witty mercs with a few thousand likes.
I agree wholeheartedly lol. I want a CPM (personally) who is now trying to push what we can do with Dust on the PS3, but also who I know advocates for more. Currently, I can't give all the feedback and ideas I want, because I have no idea how FW is, no idea how PC is, I don't even know how trading is done or what suits look like or anything...I am completely seperated from Dust, so the best I can do is confer on as many threads as possible to gain as much insight as possible.
I think you and Victor raised very great points. CPM can't be simply a popularity contest this time around, I don't want a year wasted, and luckily these canidates are ones that I feel are advancing the game. By the talking with Ripley's thread, or Talos, I see their insights far better than simply playing them in a pub match and them saying what I want to hear.
We all want Dust ported. Till that day however, how we can enrich this beautiful gem on PS3 is all we can do.
And my criteria for liking a post is so broad lol. I usually like if at least some part of your post is: Intuitive, funny, I agree with, you have no likes and raise a good dimension.
And I'm alone at the library right now listening to PC battles on Youtube and crying inside until I go to work so I have nothing to do but forum warrior and debate. *Raises glass* Continue la discussion :)

If you lack the skills, gain them. Those who critique should try. If top with many corps, you also seem to know what you want out of a CPM. To make sure such a thing happens, perhaps you should apply. Just a thought. +1

This is exactly right. First impressions are very important. Look back at all the initial Dust reviews. Mediocre at best. Dust over-promised and made poor initial impressions, and it's still suffering from that. A lot of the negative critique was valid, but looking back at the video's much of what everyone complained about no longer applies today; the game has really come a very long way since then. I think if Dust were released in 2012 as it is today then it would have fared so much better. Which is why I see this is such a great opportunity right now for Dust. Through many ups and downs Dust has been quietly improving and upgrading since it's release, while people outside this community are barely aware Dust exists. With nearly zero hype to live up to Dust is poised to pounce on next-gem gamers like a tiger. E3 doesn't scare me. Battlefront will be let down, Fallout will be great, but a single player game will never steal an online shooter community, PS2 seems to be popular, but lacks the larger persistent universe of New Eden, Battlefield, CoD, Killzone players are all weary of endless DLC packs, greedy monitization and one-year life spans of games etc. Which is why we need to use the time we have on the PS3 to continue making this game better and better until a port finally happens. Which is why I'm running for CPM2. I'm very optimistic about Dust and see so much potential, and I'd like to help in any way I can.
*Claps* You hit the nail right pn the head omg I am so sick of DLC like that...07 goodness you don't evwn understand how happy I am right now

Sorry, but a buggy lobby shooter with low frame rate, dwindling player base, virtually no dev team or resources, nothing ground breaking to speak of, mediocre graphics and a horrendous push and pull of attempted balance was by no means influenced by my cynicism.
You're the ones blinded by optimism, praying for gold while it's you who's holding the piece of crap ;)
What do you play now then? You think we're blind? Dude we know.
Dust is on a 10 year console Dust is losing players Dust needs X, Y, 21367, etc
We know. However we are making do with what we have so that all your qualms have been solvef or are in a far better state following a Port ( and I hope to the gods that they do)
The CPM can't make it rain, but look at all thse games that have claimed will kill Dust. I sure as hell know Im already bored with almost all of them, and I can attest that many people can honestly say Dust is a good game. Full of issues, but the community and when it's working correctly is amazing.
That Dust Fiend is why we continue with the optimism. I'm a Merc damnit, and you can bet I'm keep pewpewing till the servers shut down

I'm a Merc damnit, and you can bet I'm keep pewpewing till the servers shut down I don't want you to stop, nor am I trying to. I just look at CCPs track record, realize the chances of no port / new game are far higher than getting one, and I see no point in wasting time trying to make water into wine. I've watched amazing ideas and talented players come and go as CCP time and time again shows they simply lack the resources to keep up with the industry. Perhaps some day they'll surprise me and bring their game up to speed, and if they do I have plenty of ISK and SP and I'll test it out again, but I'm just enjoying other games and living my life. CCP Hilmar has all but abandoned the dream of DUST, so I see no reason to believe CCP wants this game to be taken seriously. Don't get so rustled up by someone who doesn't even play this game anymore, just keep having fun and carry on. Or don't, which just keeps me around the forums longer ;)
Didn't realize you were trolling lol Apologies 07
