To be fair I was basically a walking war crime even before I was gifted with immortality.

Are you perhaps "1st generation?" Me? Gods and spirits no. I mean... I'm not sure. It's possible I suppose, but...
I certainly wasn't a first generation, that much I know. I had never served in the Amarr Templars, nor was I among the first immortal cloned soldiers. Despite my respect for those soldiers and my collection of first generation equipment, I don't pretend to have ever fought at Pike's Landing.
But the exact origins of my original implant could be seen as suspect to say the least. There were very few opportunities within the State that the Provists could filter me into given the nature of my former operations within the Templis Dragonaurs. I needed them, and they knew it. I wasn't exactly in a position to refuse employment... So they used me and my entire unit to further their ends.
The patriotic Seitudoa family was always eager to provide under-the-table benifits to ex-Dragonaurs and Provists, specially if it opened further business ventures for Wiyrkomi small arms production. I was forced to sign in as an officer and military advisor to the Seituoda Taskforce Command, where I would serve as a provisional operative under special training status. At least that's what my paperwork said.
In reality, Ishukone had already intervened at Pike's Landing and was on their way to beginning their own immortal soldier program. Despite Heth's wishes, the Dragonaurs weren't about to let the liberals gain a dominant position within the state by being the only ones exploring this new method of war. We'd be made immortal, and work as Templis sleeper cells within the immortal community.
Only we didn't have the technology quite yet. We had to rely on Amarr scientists who had already had experience with Sleeper implants. I still remember sitting in that briefing room trying to make sense of that Khanid doctor's accent as he tried to explain all the changes I should expect after conversion.
They never did explain where those implants came from. After the surgery there was an extremely long acclimation period where we had to cross train with Amarr operatives, eventually training with them in the field while we helped quell a number of slave riots. Most of our assignments where in positions nobility felt were too 'dishonorable' for Paladins to risk their souls over. They made us do things out there, thing's I'm not proud of, and the condition of my squad just seemed to degrade until we had to be pulled off the front lines.
I hated the Amarr for a long time after that. But I never blamed them for my psychosis.
I always thought it was just the stress, or faulty engineering... I never placed stock in the thought that a few harvested Sleeper implants may have still been floating around. I never had time to think about it, right after my training with the Amarr was Heth's Purge and the uprising.
Things got better after that... Gods and spirits, maybe I'm just overthinking this.

Yes you are. You're an immature, **** stirring half-breed with a penchant for violence and that's all most people need to know to like you. Go suck an egg Udorian, I'm trying to open up and get deep here. Don't you think there's a reason why I was such a jackass to your kind up until recently?... Besides me just generally being a jackass?
Don't answer that.
But anyway, I'm still not open to the idea of pushing the responsibility of my actions entirely onto the possibility of unknowingly acquired a first generation implant. It doesn't prevent my from losing sleep over the possibility however. Regardless, my actions are my own and I am obliged to stand by my decisions. If those minmatar rebels all wanted to keep their right hands they would have dispersed as soon as our dropships hit the dirt.
(That was a joke. Mostly.)

*The post contains a link to a short repeating self taken image of Kador raising an eyebrow with an affable grin on his face. Look Kador I'm flattered but em... You know Niina and I are married yes? I mean, mostly for business purposesso I guess there's no harm...
Oh fine, I've had my fun, I'll stop. If we're ever in the same system I'd be honored friend.
