How many DUST specific Corporations use EVE characters to assist with the administration of the Corp, due to EVE having better Corp management tools?
I think the answer might say something about the importance of better Corp and Alliance management tools in DUST.
DUST Corps using EVE characters for Administration:
DUST University Immortal Guides
*Please post up if the CEO or a Director in your Corp is paying $15/month for an EVE account to help run your Corp.
Also, help me compile a list of the advantages EVE characters have for Corp/Alliance management.
Tools that only EVE characters have:
- Ability to see when each member was last logged in. (CP Contributions is now sort of doing this for DUST characters.) - Browser based in-game mail through EVE Gate web site. - Vastly Superior email tools. (Longer messages. Copy & Past from Word Processor or forums, etc.) - Ability to setup an automated welcome message that each new member receives when joining your Corp. - Ability to cut and paste into chat windows. - Ability to view a player's Corp History, and a Corporation's Alliance History. - Ability to Create or Join an Alliance (if you are the CEO.) - Ability to pay Alliance fees. (If you don't have an EVE character in the primary Corp you can't maintain an Alliance.) - Ability to manage Corporate Shares.

/c Good to have a man of significance such as yourself posting in my thread. I think people heavily involved in the Meta Game are sort of forced to have an EVE account.

Tip of the day
Mail sent from the EVE client sometimes appears with small and unreadable text for the DUST player receiving the mail. They mostly go through just fine, but every once in a while I get complaints about this in regard to my Corp's automated welcome message.
However, I have found that mail sent from the EVE Gate web site is readable for DUST characters every time.
So, Fox's Tip of the Day is, use EVE Gate instead of the in game client when sending mail from an EVE character to DUST characters.

Along with a mercs rank affecting their in battle chevron to make organising an 8/16 squad easier I would like to see a lot more content in the DUST UI for Corp management and content SOONtm Yeah, that is sort of the point of the thread, that we need better Corp management tools in DUST.
Interestingly you suggest features that are not available in EVE but make good sense for DUST.

but i don't really do anything from EVE within my real dust corp I had a DUST CEO ask me to take his shares, so that he could make an EVE character a Director in his Corp without worrying about getting screwed over. It meant a lot to me that he trusted me more than the EVE character he was about to promote to Director.
