Can we possibly lock vehicles to our squad only. I'm tired of idiots getting in my tank when I'm on the rail shooting at a dropship |

There is a squad finder. Make squad. Label it "Need Gunners".
There are hundreds of people that need daily missions for assists in a vehicle. Once you get good people will pay to roll with you. They get to have a free match and you double your firepower. This is how teams are strengthened.

I understand your point. I'm just making a suggestion. Same as for my Python I can't land and hack or throw out uplinks for fear of someone stealing ship while I hack. I do squad but this would help us |

We asked for vehicle locks two years ago and what we got was a spawn lock that made us wait half a minute to pickup anyone not in our squad. |

we have been asking for this since beta and ccp with not do it. sorry man but ccp has already stated on these forums that vehicle locks are not going to happen
after many post asking for this ccp added the stupid delay at spawn and then when we said that was not enough they added in single driver tanks

can't remember where the post was but look up some the old post about when they did the last vehicle changes

Why wouldnt you transport allies while in battle. Ever wonder why the maps are so big? Vehicles serve many roles, if you have passengers, simultaneously. If you havent learned about the potency of a vehicle squad you are lacking as a tanker. You deserve to be taken advantage of by infantry. You think only of yourself and take up an orthwise perfectly usefull vehicle space in the que.

there is a big difference between someone hopping in your vehicle for a quick ride and some one who spends the whole match wasting all your ammo and never leaves
you cant really be a transport if people never get the **** out out
i dont mind having a random jump on one of my guns and helping out
however more often then not the people who get in end up shooting the MCC all match
a good gunner helps you get the most out of your ride
a bad one ends up making you a waste of vehicle space
cant help the team if the team is sitting in your vehicle doing jack ****

I have had my share of stupids. Ive also had squads use my tank as a mobile assault platform. When people catch on the +50s from my cru pour in. Bluebs also have a safe spawn.

its not about not having people in your tank its having control over what people can get in your tank and having the ability to remove them if they are going to screw with your ride

If you didn't spend the SP on learning how to make an HAV move then you don't get to sit in the "I make the HAV move seat"; if you didn't spend the SP on learning how to make the big turret go boom-boom-boom then you don't get to sit in the "I make the big turret go boom-boom-boom seat". I think that'd do a damn sight more than any sort of "you can't get in my toy neener neener boo boo!! locks"

I don't mind helping people but there are times when I'm trying to support my squad and some off blue berry either high jacks my crap or gets on and never leaves which jeopardizes my squad role is all I'm trying to say. If I could lock my vehicle then I could be full support for my squad or open to the public to be a taxi service for the bored by my choice and not get my 345000 isk dropship or tank hijacked. If a dev could give a shout on this would be greatly appreciated |
