Hey, the heavies need ammo, you wanna-be-fatties need to put some on your suit and follow us.
Only then will you have a true purpose in Dust. |

Assaults should help out with ammo and revives but never do. Cuz they be douche bags. True, all I'm saying is that heavies should usually stay with their logis and logis should usually have a nanohive( most of the time) Why should I carry a nanohive though if I know there are maybe 2 other logis in the squad. Being a logi is a support role you have to have different fits for different things knowing your squad. So say you're doing fw (4-8 players in a squad) Say you have 8 now this 8 man squad consists of 4 logis 2 assaults and 2 heavys... 2 logis only have ADV and the other 2 have proto... the proto one can carry everything needle hive uplink rep tool. So they can run a needle and the other 2 can run hives/uplinks and maybe a scanner. Now you have pretty much everything you need. You know where the enemy is you have 2 people for revivals and you have more than enough links and hives for throughout the whole map. All i'm saying is if I see a assault or commando even help out by playing a support via droping hives or helping me out with revivals i'm giving that person a thank you and 1mil isk. Also Logis need to change their setup depending on what they have in the squad. Let's say it's a fireteam this time. 2 logis 1 assault and 1 sent. Both logis only have adv... So one of them needs to change their hive with a needle and the other one needs to keep his/her hive. Thus you have what you need again. I want my logi to have both an MD and a CR - all other logic is invalid.
Now strap that ammo hive/rep tool on and support your local fatties. |

I have joined the ranks of the commandos!
Min and Gal!
and omgz! Min Mando is so beast!!~
I put nothing but speed and punch mods on.
Why would you ever need anything else?
Slap on a MD and Flaylock or SMG, make a variant for both depending on CQC or not - and whammyo - 30/10 games, because Melee hit detection is horrid.
And Gal Commando is just own age :3 |

Amarr Commando needs a buff, not because it is UP, but because the Amarr Assault bonus needs tweaking. Currently with a lvl 5 Amarr Commando you can deal about 2800 damage with a pro lr. On an Amarr Assault lvl 5 you can deal around 3800ish damage. I feel that right now the only viable things to run competitively on the Am Commando is dual Ascr. Av laser rifle would be lovely wait, why would Caldari get a Swarm bonus?
The last thing ADS/DS's need is a swarm launcher doing even more damage, lol.
It really is a shame there's not a variant type for each race for each type of weapon for these racials to actually truly mean customization. As it stands we're always forced into the same weapons with the same suits due to lack of variety :( |

Swarms are a Minmtar weapon, they're explosives. |

Swarms are considered missiles rather then explosives, apparently, lol. |

I've now used all the commandos!!!
And i've a question....
Are there any bad commandos, at all?
The Min was so godly I can't put it down anymore - it's my new go to suit.
Gal is such a beast with AR/SG that it's turned into a better point defense then my actual heavy suits.
Caldari with Rails is pretty beastly - but I mostly enjoyed it's survibility. This is probably the worst of the commando's - yet still fun.
And Amarr Coammando with my ASCR was just LOL!
How would you guys rate the Commando suits?
Min, Amarr, Gal, and Cal fo rme. |
