Uprising 1.2: Flaylock Summer.
Coming in on the heels pf my brother, I installed Dust...and was to be immediately killed by Core Flaylock pistols. Thinking the game was like COD, I bought 50, and equipped them to my militia suit only to find that it could be used. I proceeded to.rum militia only till September with 50 Flaylocks in inventory. Eris Ernaga of SuperNerds found me in a random pub. 1.4 had brought the intro of Active Scanners, which he ran on his slayer MinLogi with the newly released Assault Scrambler Rifle. Learned that shooting the MCC did not damage it, cover was essential.to.victory, PC was an actual gamemode and not a Personal Computer, Enforcer tanks actually need AV ro kill and not a simple Assault Rifle. I left Super Nerds for Svatar Bjorn. We never got into PC, however at this time:Ill Omens, Sver Tru Blood, Nyain San, and 0H were beginning to become uttered by the highest SP players in our corp. Killer Taxi Company was a thing as they xonstantly ran people over in ambush with 3000 hp Limbus, and Forge Guns had to two shot them. My internet was cut off, and upon returning to uprising 1.7 in January, a dramatic new landscape had unfolded
Ghostt Shadow had formed the Unit 514, of which my corporation had disbanded and joined. AE was a powerhouse, and John Shepherd III had left to become the CEO pf G0Ds Am0ng Men. The Unit was to be the training corp for G0ds, but it ended up.being our beat players in G0ds with everyone elae not accepted. Ghost and John broke up the partnership, Ghost left Dust ro go grow *********. I jumped ship after 1.5 weeks in isolation. PC districts still gave isk, I wanted to show I wasn't a bad player and make some isk for myself, as well as a reputation. I was accepted in Gods by Hakyou Intaki, AceBoone, Oneeye96, Ensar Cael, XxCerebratexX, Tomiki Wilki, DielikesoldiersShane, AP Grasshopper, Cloak Wolf R1d3r, etc. Played and played through change after change. Contact grenades were removed from the game, Forge Gun splash was reduced, the Imperial Scrambler use to be the proto weapon, but was then the LP variant, and the Viziam was born 1.7 also removed a massive host of vehicle modules. Hardeners and Nitros completely changed to allow for "flying" tanks. Shield repair on logilavs, different armor plates, Compressed Railguns, Accelerated Ion Cannons, logistic dropships such as the Erxy, etc. Top corporations mid 1.7 were 0uter.Heaven, Ancient Exiles, Nyain San, What the French, Made in Poland, Phionex Federation, and a few others.
Uprising 1.8-
Partial respect for suits given. Full racial suit parity introduced. Cal Scout because instantly one of the most used suits. Fanfest occurs.
Massive recall in Aurum purchases on PSN as infuriated players ask for refunds on the basis of False Advertising. Chats such as: lolDustKeynote full of players screaming profanities and bashing Legion. Whole corporations go Dark. Extremely bad Dust history day.

Hotfix A- PC isk generation stopped. Assaults given a different slot layout and Ads are given a ROF nerf I believe. General Tso's alliance and Rise of Legion posess the most land in PC. 0H and Cap fight ERA headed by Roman837 as his conquest of Odeluf begins. Miss you XxDestructionxX
0H goes dark after Destiny. FA joins the fray and takes all their districts with almost no oppostion. CamClarke quits the game. Capital Acq behins to make a resurgence, Shepherd Grey makes a tough PC team. Tension grows within General Tsos however.
Other hotfixes- Add a tweaking of weapon stats and making suits more viable
0H resurfaces with the tutelage of D3lta Blitzkrieg II, Radar, Shruikan Iceeye, XDrake19, Zaria Min Dier, and others. Most corporations of the old day have waned at that time in November 2014. Kill-Em-Quick and some other PC teams were among a few old eggs PC was tale.

Been recently seeing some oldies like Negative Feedback, Osg, and others on the forums. Random Gunz was not in the long history but they were around by 1.8 I believe, if not a lil after I think. So yeah that's my history lol. I'm very curious as to what happened with DNS and what was all that about with Kane? I recall a crud load of noshows which I think is where Nyain grabbed a lot of land as well. Apologies for typos, typed on phone. Amazing thread, made me relive a lot of memories:( 07
