Turn off the weather effects or whatever memory eater is causing the unplayable lag plz.
Lost too many suits to this BS already. You know the maps and the effects as they have been talked about too many times before so get this fixed.

1. Lower resolution of your screen
2. Lower texture detail in the game settings
3. Limited the number of chat channels you have
4. Change your server in settings
5. If the above doesn't work, it is either your Wi-Fi

Not sure why the community has so much trouble reading......
The issue is a memory leak with the weather effect. So understand the problem before you post remedies. This is a Dev issue not a home internet issue......
Besides 75 mb wired connection is not going to lag. |

None of that works.....I've tried all of those home remedies.
Shield tanking is hard mode /period.

Here is the solution. Quit playing on a LEGACY system. CCP needs to get with the times.
We have no one to blame for the poor state of the game except ourselves(and Rattati for listening)

Since i use wired i do not have any lags, frame drops -yes, especially wenn molon lab boys begin to lose, there allways lag and than they win xD

so "the problem is all on your end.....unless its not"?
Some real tips:
if you want to fight in the large socket, spend as little time anywhere else as you can. If you don't want to fight in the large socket, good luck you will need to skirt around it by a large radius.
Restarting your PS3 can help if you find you are lagging match after match, sometimes all you need is to relog your character.
Facing away from all sockets reduces lag, but only while you are facing away.....
5 point skirmish seems to be the real offender here ... that means no factionals :P
Less Chat channels work around works.
IMO CCP are asking too much of the PS3, and before you point to XX game with "better graphics and bigger maps", unless that game uses DUST's code base its a moot point.
