Lately it seems that people love playing DUST, but if only it could be less original and instead be exactly like their other favorite games. In order to appeal to the widest demographic of potential players, here's some amazing suggestions on new equipment and features for DUST:
Skateboards: Imagine the increased mobility you'd have (downhill anyway) riding a tricked out assault skateboard! Kickflip your way to victory with SP awarded for particularly stunning stunts. Grind objectives to capture.
Nanoswarm Attacks: Tired of there being no magic in the future? Well you're in luck, because any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic! Simply program in a fireball and watch it be assembled out of the air around you to toast your foes.
Holographic Companion Orb: A holographically projected sphere of light that offers helpful suggestions like reminding you every few minutes how to use your weapons, or how doors work again just in case you have short term memory loss. Don't be caught without one of these wondrous bits of technology! Now if only we could get it to stop shouting "Hey, Listen!" all the time...
Robotic Hookers: Don't worry, you can just run over them with your LAV to get your ISK back.
Super Spy Kit: Along with an archaic and fairly useless pistol and a nice formal suit, you'll receive a martini shaker absolutely free.
Football: None of that crazy "soccer" stuff for you clones. Only the best in futuristic pigskins will do the job. No excessive endzone celebrating though or you could cost your team the match.
Deck of Cards: Spawn campers got you down? Chill on the MCC and gamble your gear away instead!
LAV race tracks around each map. Can you capture the objectives before they complete 3 laps?
Dance to Hack: Simply holding down a button isn't interactive enough, so now you'll have to jump around in an awkward rhythm game to capture an objective. (dance pad not included)
Ball Transformation Mode: Hey, you're already in a powered suit, tap a button to condense yourself into a small ball and find a hole to drop into. The best parts of these kinds of games are hidden under the surface after all.
3 Triangular Power Elements: If any one player controls all 3, they get to shape the game map to their desires.
Energy Whip: Simon Belmont eat your heart out!
Have I made my point yet? Let DUST be what it is, stop trying to make it something else.
