Really? You have, what, 3 options available to you at any given time as a tanker on what to do during an engagement. Forward, backward, mod. Any of these three can be accompanied with return fire since your turret can rotate 360 with ZERO speed reduction.
You call that a high skill use role? You're immune to literally 70% of the weapons on the field, and nothing can one shot you no matter how hard they try. And no one infantry can really bring you down before you get away safely. And you can still outfit scans, CRU's, and place turrets on yourself to give you further firepower.
it kinda makes sense to say mods give tankers a level of skill, but to say it's 10 time more skill and practice then shoots red on the ground is rather... dumb. |
