Yes dont use turbo controller. Fight fair n square. This game is the most balance game the history of all video games. We all played this game in the same time thats why were all equal. Militia basic advance proto officer gear are all the same they are all balance. New players and vets are all equal. Solo player vs fire team vs squad vs platoon is all equal.
So dont use anything that will give any sort of advantage in this game.

I havent read anything that says its against the rules..i could be wrong but even companies sell this stuff. now if a dev will tell me im all ears but other than that i really dont see anything unfair about it. its like a group of guys with mics. the other team doesnt have it but that doesnt make it unfair. you just have to find a way around it. |

There is a clear difference to an intended feature and something unintended. Don't compare comms to modded controllers, one is fair play and the other is underhanded tactics. There is no fun if you win with an unfair advantage

His ScR old vids were good , he didn't use one.

Point me to the section of the rules that states it's against the ToS? The only section references rapid keystrokes:
You may not use your own or any third-party software, macros or other stored rapid keystrokes or other patterns of play that facilitate acquisition of items, currency, objects, character attributes, rank or status at an accelerated rate when compared with ordinary Game play. You may not rewrite or modify the user interface or otherwise manipulate data in any way to acquire items, currency, objects, character attributes or beneficial actions not actually acquired or achieved in the Game.
None of that is impacted by the turbo function. Moreover, you can't ban that function on the PS3 because they're perfectly valid controllers.

I've used the ScR starting right after Beta. I can tell you all most definitely that the user depicted in the videos was and is most definitely using a Modded Controller. He was Firing before the recoil of the gun had any apparent effect. Not only that but the TAC Assault Rifle was a dead giveaway. Luckily his name is in the Killfeed of the video, so banning him should not be a problem. |

The Scrambler Rifle didn't look ridiculous at least not when compared to how fast I fire. Though, the Tactical AR looked extremely suspicious. It is extremely hard to not over sample that weapon, and I find it hard to believe that he can fire it that consistently without shooting too fast or slow.

Mouse would need to have an autofire function. You can really only get perfect rhythm at slower speeds.
And mice with autofire functions are dumb.

and here I am staring at an old, scratched, beat up -ú20 PS3 controller from ebay bought from a user called simplesimon,
it's so light I think it's fake, it has no dualshock and not even the dualshock logo but is sixaxis, it's matt black and not shiny like the one which was bundled with my 80gb piano black PS3.
if I could find my other controller I'd still be using my original DS3 from 2010!
but of course I cheat and bought some fancy controller, scrubs. I could easily make a video showing my hands and the TV screen but why the hell should I have to put myself in front of the camera, waste all that time, just to prove a bunch of morons like you wrong?

its not what was intended but a fire mode selector would cater to everyone.
why would you use a full auto variant over the higher dps of a semi?
combine the variants, add firemodes and introduce new weapons in their place like the Amarr and Gal heavy weapons.

There's recoil with modded pads using ascr/scr/cr/tac ar however with the normal ar and acr there is no recoil and this is because the aforementioned weapons are high damage precision based weapons so to balance the assault variants by bursting shots you get no recoil, try firing the normal ar and rapid press R1 solo then bursts of 3 seconds and then hold it down and you'll see difference in recoil, the vids posted just show the basic ar functioning as intended and the 2nd vid the guy wasn't even aiming and from a 3rd person viewpoint, so you've based an entire argument on your own ignorance(modded pads don't get recoil lmao).. What's wrong with you? .. I used to like you when we were in forsaken but youve turned into an embarrassment all I ever see are dumb abusive troll posts from you

Can confirm. I had a turbo for the Playstation 2. Unless they completely revamped the format, he could charge it and then turn it on before the spam. It's why there is a short pause between the charge and the spam. An unmodded DS user wouldn't have the pause with that amount of experience.

The sheer consistency here is what screams that he might be using a modded controller. He could probably squeeze out more DPS on his scrambler if he wanted to, but having a stable firing pattern would make it easier to use in my opinion.
The only one that seemed no hack was the CR, mainly because perfectly firing that thing takes only a little bit of practice. It's just damn near impossible to do because of the lag.
