It's much less stressful if you just stick to FW.
If you play pubs, just ignore the objectives and focus on getting enough WP to get a payout. The "sandbox" play has drowned out any tactical play around the objectives. |

The "sandbox" play has drowned out any tactical play around the objectives. thats not my problem I'm not losing anything, whereas the people I am currently playing against (whom I have played with before) are running a squad of full proto (this can be confirmed as they each killed me at least once) now the real problem begging when I take into account the blues I was playing with, I am in a squad with two relatively new players and I am playing against some of the most organized players I have played with, each match was practically a stomp as they flank around when the blind blues just stand there sure it wasn't a complete beat down but we are getting cloned almost every match I have no problem playing against these guys but at least give me some competent players on my side it brings into question precious concerns for exploits with the matchmaking but yeah you are right, I was just trying to get away from the lag I've been getting in FW
Again, someone blaming the people that actually play the game vs all the ones on your side that are hiding.
There is absolutely no excuse for people not having ISK these days. If you are fortunate enough to find a team that's willing to fight it would be great for people to take the challenge and respond with better gear instead of gearing down and going into hiding.

When I go into a random squad finder and end up in matches with more newbros than vets I find the matches much more fun and the effort level across the board much higher.
In my opinion the problems we are having are more to do with veteran players who "farm" more than they fight. |

did you not get to the part where we got cloned? they weren't hiding we put up a good fight but a bunch of random unorganized blues (and some ok players) cant really compete against a good well organized squad and competent reds (although there were 2 or 3 that had a terrible KD such as myself not gonna lie) but when the enemy side is going mostly 10-2 or better and your team is getting the opposite with the exception of 4 or 5 players it's chaos I was being my usual self and as soon as I saw any of these guys I hunted them down for fun, I just feel bad for the players that don't have the resources available to even try and compete again they were running full proto squad so 4 very good players and a possibly more I didn't pay much attention to the others and It'd be good to hear the story from their side, so perhaps my side had good players but they weren't doing everything they could've or they were just not as organized as the enemy team was
I don't feel sorry for random players at all. I don't feel sorry for veteran players who run to hack an objective during a stomp and fail to drop an uplink.
You'd think at some point people would squad up and attempt some level of coordination.
I'll take my team getting cloned over my team never coming out of the redline or off of the roofs anyday. |

I agree to some point and yes it can be a problem, I just want to understand what exactly is going on that I get put up against the same people so many times in a row, I'ts not like this is the first time I've seen them I expect to see people I know all the time I even add them to my watch list to keep track of who I come up against I've been in matches with most of the YouTube guys and I have been in matches with the people I play FW with those matches are some of the best as both sides seem to always put up a good fight but when I am running around trying to have a chill time with newer players (I run mostly mlt fittings while I do this) I don't expect to see anyone other then a handful of people that do the same
Unless you play dom, you are in a small pool of players trying to go into battle.
Domination provides lazy gameplay for the masses. Try to take the objective, die twice, go snipe. |

It's less stressful in FW? Where the most common thing to see is the exact same team on the opposing side every single time? And if you got stomped last match, you'll get stomped every match afterward until the opposing team calls it quits? Last night or two nights ago, can't remember which, I couldn't get a single Gallente victory in, even though I'd played over ten Gal matches, because I was up against the same people every single time. My side certainly got some variety, though, since the losers kept getting frustrated and dropping out, only to be replaced by fresh faces who didn't know who they were up against. However, when I got into Minmatar matches, Minmatar was absolutely whooping the Amarr. Every single time. Which is great for me, because Minmatar gives me most of the gear I use. Now don't get me wrong, I love FW no matter how much I hate it. I like that it's a competitive mode and I like that, despite the fact that it's competitive, you don't see as many absolute stompers. Apparently the full proto all day every day guys prefer going to pubs to get their easy kill fix. But there is no way going into FW is less stressful than pubstomps. In pubs at least you get variety in players every match. You've got better chances to win because there are enough people playing in pubs that you don't consistently run into the exact same people. In FW it's the same faces every day. If we could get more people into FW it would become a much better arena, but the problem is that the people who keep FW alive are some of the roughest competition you can find outside of PC. And some of said FW brawlers take part in PC frequently, too. So it's not that it's a competitive place and it's hard that keeps people away. It's that you always see the same people and you know if you recognize a bunch of names you're going to lose. It keeps new faces very far away. My first couple of times in FW matches, I got wrecked so bad by the same group of people I didn't even consider FW again until four months later. At which point I got stomped again, but not as bad, and just stayed out until about a month or two ago. Thankfully I'm finally good enough to hold my own some of the time, but it took me nearly seven months to actually get to enjoy FW. Squadding up didn't help, either, it just got me into the matches and my face shoved into the dirt faster. But no. FW is not less stressful unless you're on the side that's consistently winning.
If you take a few minutes to get a few 8 man squads together FW is much less stressful. And even when I'm part of a full sync the battles are more hard fought than when I'm in a Negative_Feedback squad in a pub from all the people leaving battle or going into hiding right from the start.

Thinking that 4 man squads were going to someone be the cure all to droves of pub players putting up little to no effort was pretty stupid.
We'll continue to see the same forum people with their violins out for all the poor players who are just getting picked on, but hopefully some day there will be consensus that this is an FPS and requires all parties to shoot guns at each other for fun to happen. |

SEND IN THE CLONES!!! sorry what? The squads love you. those guys are pretty chill if you play with them, not so much when you go against them whose guys?
Glad I'm not the only one who didn't understand it. |

Why would the people who still play need new stuff to do to encourage them to shoot at red dots? I want new content as well, but that doesn't mean I'm going to waste my time not actually playing while playing a video game.
