I never had Lag this bad, honestly.
Yup sometimes i have hard rubberbands (mostly when i squad with nonEU during US prime), but i never had something like this.
What is your connection speed?
Are you wired?
Did you tried to take details down?

Actually i found this interesting too.
Everytime when we have even everytime there is problem with lag.
I actually think events are here for server/stability tryouts XD

I am wired with a good connection speed (Cant remember the precise numbers but they are correct). I dont have any lag trouble with any other game. Details are already down IIRC.. This was for me the worst lag/FPS drop I ever had since I started Dust.
If that was only on one game, you was propably just droped in some non EU server.
Im wired on 130mb and i experience lag really only on US prime time.
Anyway try to turn on/off ps3 and if it will be same try same with router (it helps sometimes) ;)

Another thingy turn off media server (it is in connection settings of ps3).
I read somewhere that thingy can make some looses due to interfering with randomly turning wifi on and off.
Im not the expert, but you can try ;)
