To all you recorders on Youtube and so on, what did you have to buy to record PS3 footage and Audio. Planning on buying some capture equipment so I can share fun times with my mates on Dust and PS4 beyond. As long as it's under 200 dollars of course :)

True, but just for some pubs and all. Does PS3 recording not work with the PS4?

Ok do any of these require a PC to be bought so I can upload? Cause that's a nono lol. And Dagger, I'm working on it. Just planning out finances atm and seeibg if I can fit this in

The PS4 is set up for recording gameplay right out of the box. It is always recording the last 15 minutes of gameplay, always. When something epic goes down all you need to do is press the share button on the controller and presto. Just seems like spending that much money on capture gear this late in the game on PS3 is a waste of time but what do I know, it's your money.
