I have tried to explain to NF members what the difference between frame rate issues and lag is so that I can adequately pass on the information to CCP. Some maps, like the Gallente Lag Facility, generate a ton of frame rate loss (a stuttering in the video stream... the 'slide show effect') where as some people just generally have poor connections (intentionally or not)... as well, Sony might be slowly retiring servers, as the PS3 will no longer have PSN servers come next year. Sony is only confirming support through 2015 and is ambiguous about proceeding years.
