Not sure if basic Minmatar medium frames currently have 2 eq slots,but look at this pic from the new progression DevBlog
It says under basic role that the suit has 2 equipment slots. This is interesting to me, are they making basic roles sort of a mix of Logi and assault?

except it gets no bonus so it doesn't really matter as the medic starter fits already have two equipment slots

The progression boxes in the middle show 1 EQ slot for all levels so I feel like that is just a typo. I suppose either good be a typo and it could go either way tho.

The boxes in the middle are showing the Assault role loadouts, not basic frames.

Hard to say but I think you are right.
How is this guy 500k SP and has a billion ISK. Someone needs to get to work selling him skins ASAP.

I have been asking for this for 2 years. It gives new players a chance to try being a logi before they commit the SP to skill into the Logi suit. The Basic becomes a generalist with attributes of both the Assault and Logi suits, but without the bonuses.
Hand/Eye coordination cannot be taught. For everything else there is the Learning Coalition.

Last I checked, basic frames have so little PG/CPU that extra slots are meaningless.

And Rattati, nice idea with that. I might use them more now.
EDIT: McBob has a point, they will need more fitting for the extra EQ slot.
