There specific talents come into play to help identify wether or not to put them into that role, but just because i can choose 5 out of 20 doesn't make it any less competitive for the 20 people who want in. I have to decide between those 20 people whose the best - and if you don't compete and compare, how will i? You're basically saying it's okay for the community to be blindly pick candidates based solely on forum presence. If that's the case, i should run for CPM on my alts that are well respected. But then I'd be possibly removing a real candidate from CPM just because i decided to compete for the position using my forum presence and not compete openly with him on topics. That's cut and dry competition, no way around it. lol and the lack of competition would lead to it truly becoming a popularity contest, people arguing over who they like more rather then who is saying the right things.

They should be intended for PC. Not pubs. They aren't even that rare. I have sold 8 of them and about 20 officer rail rifles to Songs of Seraphim for approx 100m. I have 4 more from boxes. It would have been more impressive if it was the balacs SR.
