This feature tracks CP earned by corporation members on a rolling 7 earning cycle. As CCP Rattati has explained, this info is available to all members within the corp as a means to inspire competition among members to be the highest CP producers for their corp. However, I believe it will also enhance the meta by giving spies a job (i.e. join a corp and report weekly on who are the top 10 CP earners for that corporation). I wouldn't put it past people to place importance on gathering this kind of data. You can recruit a lot of people to your corp, but if they're not active they're not adding anything of significance to your operations. What I'm talking about is figuring out how much CP players earn from the contributions tab logs. You use this data to poach player with an ISK incentive to turncoat to your corp and earn CP for you. At best you can track log-in frequency (unless FoxFour fixed the Dust Wallet division). Contributions Tab is going to be much better in terms of an inner corp reference board viewable by all members. The version deploying with 1.2 will reset after 7 day. It will show a player name and the current amount of CP they've earned during week. Contributions Tab is visible to corpmates.
