first of all when you are playing solo being able to spot others before they spot you is favorable in almost every situation
second use the AR its your best friend as a solo player engage outside of their max scan range if possible (learn these if you haven't already)
use cheap fittings low health is ok to have as long as you can dispatch at least one player each time you die, your favored play style should be kept in mind I try to stick with high alpha assassins as a solo player the best way to help your team is to kill high KD players and other high priority targets such as squad leads or Gal logi perma scanners (if you can distract these long enough your team can gain some leeway to fight back)
you can try to play two ways stay with your team and support them as much as possible or go around as a scout picking off stragglers and those pesky high priority targets
I can give you some simple fittings to try your luck with, I like to use scout fits with precision mods or damage mods and I have a proto minja on my alt that works wonders even when using the basic frame you can take most suits out and you are fast enough to get in and out of most situations
if you are staying with your team I suggest to go with an assault or a logi alternatively you could go commando but I doubt that would suit you if your aim is that bad
using the RR to tag people (fire in bursts) is a good way to get assist and to help your team out without having to have great aim or you can stick with the AR as it is easy to use and you can simply hip fire it so it doesnt require the best aim as long as you engage at reasonable ranges under 45m probably in your case
it doesn't really matter what faction you run with precision and dampening are your friend as a solo player, I recommend using precision mods on all your fittings and to try to get your scan precision under 27 as that will let you see almost everything other then good scouts, if you run an Amarr scout you can get it down to about 18 db I believe the caldari can get to about 20 or maybe 19? at proto only at adv the lowest you can get is 21 as for the amarr you can get the 18db with just the adv on the minmatar I recommend to use shield extenders instead as they get no bonus to any Ewar have lower hp and the fitting options aren't the best for it and you always want to go with kin cats on your lows but if you have trouble seeing precision mods can help on the Gallente stacking damp mods can get you under 18db at basic if your skills are maxed so you can use this to your advantage to take out those perma scan gal logies
the Caldari heavy/sentinel is one of the best solo tanks out there in my opinion the 1 second depleted shield delay allows you to clear rooms by popping in and out and with the high slots you can stack precision mods to get the jump on most frames even some scouts that think you are unaware of their presence(you can get the db to about 27 if I remember correctly) on these you want to place shield reg in the low slot to have your shield ready more often
all that being said I do recommend running with a squad even if its just a random one (as long as they are ok players) this can help you or them out by sharing assets and it makes it easier to have a group to stick with there is power in numbers and its easier to notice when a squad mate gets dropped then a random blue so it can keep you on your toes and give you an idea of what player on the enemy team is running and where they are not to mention that it gives you the option for your squad lead to use OB's alternatively you can run your own solo squad and if you make enough wp you can help your team out more
easy mode for vets if you are skilled into nades, Caldari logi (apex if you have it) adv nonohive and core locus nades keep the leash ( rep tool ) and the needle to keep your team up and ready to fight while farming points for OB's if possible, your hives will have much more clusters you can get about 5 nades out of a single hive at skill lvl 3 cal logi and more at proto I presume, but you can use these to clear out rooms easily so your team can push points and they take out most frames and can give you multiple kills if you know how to use them
if you want or need any more help let me know you can contact me in game if you need me and we can squad up so you can see first hand what a solo player can do (wont be anything too impressive most matches)
