I seen many players spamming LAV bluerprints just to crash Bolas(vehicle delivery dropship) into ADS or simple dropship (it insta-destroys dropship upon collision, but don't explode it(so you still can jump out)). It's very annoying because: 1. victims lose many ISK and abusers don't lose anything 2. bolas is invisible, so it's just spawns near you and ram you, there's very small chance to survive
My idea is to deny vehicle delivery if there's enemy aerial vehicle nearly (or any aerial vehicle, because some players suffer from vehicle-spam at start of match and get rammed by friendly 'Bolas'es)

Hello, Remor
Dust 514 has gone through not only a courageous journey of survival as a game, but also has gone through a great evolution of its own intentional making. What I mean is, even now, it refuses to settle down and just coast along on its success. It is still a daring concept for an fps game, and is even now working towards more TACTICAL play at the deliberate expense of hip-hoppy, pimp-my-controller-or-perfect-my-strafe-to-win play.
In the past, I feel as if several of the features of Dust combat were being "dummy'ed down" in order to make the game enjoyable for more players. The Bolas delivery process was one of them. We had an "ETA delay" built into delivery system. When you called your vehicle, your "order" joined the queue, and if you were 6th in line, it felt like the 5 player before you forcing you to WAIT for you toy to be delivered.
That was intense. Often your area of the map got overrun by reds before your vehicle could arrive in time, you were killed or forced to flee,GǪ and your vehicle was delivered into the enemy's lap, for them to use. That was intense. Ordering your 250,000 ISK vehicle, and only then hearing the voice tell you "ETA, 12 seconds", was scary, because it meant you had to keep the landing area secure for a while, and PRAY.
Now that Dust 514 is herding us toward more TACTICAL thinking again (I should try harder to call it 'EVE DUST 514', because that is its gradually approaching identity), I think it is time to RE-INSTATE RDV delays again, and increase the difficulty of ordering your vehicle while on the map.
This might solve your RDV traffic mischief, Remor.
Now that we have eased the matchmaking issues, the strafing debate, and the HAV affairs, INCREASING the difficulty of something like RDV access in the game will definitely get my approval!
Universe of good wishes for the 49, especially CCP Eterne...
