I'm guessing I get a fight where both sides actually participate once every 20 or 30 matches.
The only thing I can think of is fear of losing ISK. How long are you going to ignore this? |

Seems legit.
Zion scrub doesn't play game, but talks as though he knows something.
Seems legit |

Seems legit. Sh!t posting alliance member complains and calls out other sh!t posting alliance member. Seems like r3tard fight in the making. Grabs popcorn. Too legit
**** posting?
Am I the only one for months that gets complete crap pub matches? I can't be because I hear it all the time.
I love a challenge, but having the majority of your team or the other team not fight isn't a challenge. It's either redline or get redlined with very little action.
It just keeps getting worse. |

Stefan Stahl wrote:One thing I'd actually like to know from the data:
Whenever I look at the overview map (which means, whenever I eat more bullets than are good for me) I spot maybe 5 blueberries on the map. Out of 15.
Statistically, during a 15 minute skirmish you'd expect on average more than 13 other blueberries to be visible on the map at any given time. This is most definitely not the case. By a long shot.
Why?
How long does it take an average blueberry to respawn? If my estimate of 5 visible blueberries is correct then on average each blueberry takes 60 seconds to respawn after they died. I hope that isn't true. If so, why?
Most of the players who don't actually leave the battle just bide their time until the match is over. Match after match after match.
We'd be better off with the crappiest NPCs in the history of PVE than this trash.
Dust may need drones in pubs to keep this thing going. This has to be the most complete trash playerbase in all of FPS.

Got mouthy and proved my point. Your corp couldn't have beaten their own meat.

They were given a district or two and took one of ML's districts when I told them Zion was trash.
He was the only Zion player in any of the matches and convinced one of our dude's to awox. It was pretty impressive to be honest, but shortly after he abandoned ship and hopped on some bandwagon.

Zion wasn't given districts. Also, there were 4 zion in the first match, 8 in the second, and three in the third. Didn't convince anyone to Awox, he just didn't like you guys. Everyone on our side was like wtf? then started laughing. Zion folded because there wasn't enough bodies, and I couldn't force them to want to play PC.
Whatever you have to tell yourself.

You've done great work over the past year improving balance, quality and expanding/developing content.
But we can see the same tilt in the wrong direction on Eve-Offline's charts that you can.
Some folks believe that the match-making and Mu system would work even better if Dust had more players on at once.
Taboo or not in this business, ccp, it's time we talk about how to grow this community. Or, if the conversation will be about Whether or not to grow it, ok. Let's just have the conversation...all six players and the two devs.....what's up?
People just want to complain about proto. They don't want to acknowledge that most of the problem is the lack of effort from the bottom up.
Matchmaking showed that it wasn't new players getting wrecked. As soon as I started facing veteran players all the time the matches got worse and worse. Dust is full of accountants not mercenaries.

I think Dust should showcase team play. If they developed around that with stuff like command modules and skills to boost squad mates it could be amazing. But team play has eroded into nothing.
Q syncing in FW is frowned upon. But I've only been around PC oriented people that have wanted persistent team play since their beginnings of Dust. People used to like playing against other good squads and would break out the proto to meet the coming challenge. We are so far from that.

When people die a few times and stop doing stuff, yes.
Games should be fun.

No, it's exactly my point.
If dying a few times and quitting is acceptable to you, I'm not the one with the problem. |

If you only run proto then you are the problem, because you're creating an environment where it's impossible to field a suit with a reasonable chance of winning. The kind of suit that has any chance of winning simply costs too much to lose, and there's no way to beat you in the isk war because :PCpayouts: I'm not saying that proto has no place in pubs, the payouts are big enough to fund a few, but it's definitely a sign that you're not interested in being challenged if your wallet goes negative in the name of cheap kills. Not a lot different to modded controllers. If you want good pubs, try being a good pub
I run Apex suits unless there's nobody doing stuff on my team.
There are ways to play the game without being poor. I hardly ever see any Dust Uni in game and when I do they are solo, this seems pretty strange to me. |
