So what is tactical about being able to run faster than my reticle can train on you? If this is supposed to be a tactical shooter why does it look more like Halo now???
Every suit is loaded with kincats. You can't even move your reticle faster than they can back up. To top it off you reward them even more by making aim assist stick better at higher speeds. WTF is there aim assist anyway in a FPS.
I mean make up your mind CCP. Do you want to be a ****** Halo with guys running up to assault suits with nova knives... Or do you want to be a flagship first of tactical shooter. Because right now you are a lot closer to a ***** HALO.
The speed issue is leaving no definition of roles and allowing no game balance. A scout should not be charging an assault with a shotty or knives. That IS what assaults do. Catching them in the back is one thing, but fearlessly jumping or running through a 30 meter gap means you ****** up somewhere on your game.
So how about you get some white boards out and discuss what suits fill what roles and start positioning them. No way assaults should be jumping or running so fast that you can't train a gun on them, let alone what a scout can do.

how about no,the only reason scouts dont drop like flies is because of kincats. quit whining about not being able to keep up. just un ads and re ads where every they run, not that hard you useless scrub.
Not running Aim assist kiddies. My aim is fine. The Sensitivity is set to the highest and they can still move faster than you can turn. The only mechanic that matters right now in game is speed. Like a said I have never heard of front line combat scouts, but this game has them. Sorry if you're butt hurt because someone so calling out the speed again get over it, and its not just scouts. Speed of play and movement are at the heart of nearly every major issue with this game right now. Get back to chrome numbers so we can have strategy again. Because I would rather just play Destiny or Halo if I want a FPS without the tactical aspect. |

complaining that people are using something other than health mods? heard of a scrambler rifle?, a well-placed charge shot will take care of a speedy, squishy scout in 1 shot if you fit it right.
Obviously you missed the part about the fact they move faster than the sensitivity on the game allows you to follow, so there can never be a well placed shot.... For that matter there are dozens of ways to kill guys, the point is right now speed is not tactical on here or you would not have light suits running up to assaults because they can jump 20 meters or run the distance and gun you down with a shottty. Every game tonight had multiple "front line" scouts and guys with mass drivers or flaylocks with jump boots. That's called Halo, and if I wanted to play a game like that this crappy version would not be my choice. Bottom line is in truth the game needs to be slowed down to where position and cover matter. Right now a scout can close so fast (or an assault for that matter) you cant even detect them on your scanners before you get knifed in the back. That means no counter play. No mechanic should have zero counter play. |
