Corrupted data synchronization .. Hi I have problems with the game . Upon entering the game starts synchronization , reaches 24% and 26 % then get a message saying. Corrupted download files , retry later. I recommend doing , I need help !!! It is the first time it happens to me. Please help me. Thank You. |

Hello, today I had exactly the same problem, but I was able to fix it.
To do that, you delete all backups of DUST (the game, and backup settings to be sure to have a clean system). After that, return to PSN and reinstall the game. Before redo your synchronization, restart your modem (to avoid other potential bugs), and start the game, and it should work. (Note: I used a 3G connection to be sure that my internet is stable, because my ADSL sometimes creates problems)
I think the problem is the instability of Tranquility with internet connection sometimes a little unstable (this is not the first time it happens to me personnaly, you're lucky, it made me three or four times!). The problem is that corrupt data remain stored in the DUST data, and then causes the bug repeatedly.
If these tips do not work, I advise you to change the hard drive of your PS3 (HDD or SSD, it is better), because that's what I had to do for the same bugs before. If you can't, you must wait for a new version of synchronization, which normally sets the bug, anyway it's happened to me.
Last thing, sometimes the synchronization works with other PS3 accounts, because I think the data are positioned elsewhere. It could be a temporary solution if you really want to play DUST.

I'm getting same issue, haven't been able to log into the game for like 3 days now.
I deleted both game and data utility, reinstalled Dust and it's still corrupted. |

Mine was fixed today. Here's what I did:
Full format utility > Redownload game > after reDL don't open the game yet> do a safe mode twice at first: choose option 2, then second option: 1 > then open the game.
But you might want to try the quick format at first see if that will work on your console, or skip the step on doing the safe mode. I think formatting utility will delete the corrupted data that the latest update created.
And also full formatting will require long hours after completion. I only got 160GB of HDD so it took mine 9HRS :D
